Keep that up and you'll be crop dusting any potential loud talkers in the PC tonight.;)

I don't believe it was food related. Sounded (garbled, from three rows back) like it was some sort of pre-existing medical condition that went awry mid-air.

Yeah, the preexisting condition is 31" pitch and rock-hard seats on a six-hour transcon.

I had a reclining exit-row aisle, but that is one seriously long flight. Just 01:15 less than LIM-EWR. I hope not to experience Transcon whY again anytime soon. F is much more civilized.

Nice pics! Except for the part where they're Yankees.:D I like the shot with the stadium roof framing the photo.^

A target of $1K/tier is pretty good. That's 2.5cpm. A $2K/tier spend is way too high for travel solely for the status, IMO. Three of the SEA-NRT trips would get you zero to platinum in ~$1800 and a week of insanity. My spend is definitely above 3cpm so far this year, but part of that is trips that I actually wanted to take as a trip, not just a MR. The BRU Do ticket, for example, was ~$550 IIRC. Not a great CPM but a great trip.

Should have said that I would "end up spending", not "could spend". If I could make Silver or Gold for $1/2K respectively, I'd be thrilled.

Mom: "You're on Continental 1401."
Client: "Is that on jetBlue?"

(I can't make this stuff up...)

He was on some sort of a conference call and was literally yelling into his bluetooth. After about 10 or 15 minutes of that nonsense, I marched right up to him and told him to lower his voice because I could hear him from accross the lounge. He complied and was actually somewhat apologetic. Another person sitting near him gave me a thumbs up on the way back to my seat.

You should post a warning that the pictures were of the Evil Empire. I nearly had to pluck my eyes out before I could get the window closed.
