I had some issues with AVG in the past, so I paid for ESET Smart Security.

More is More.

No more multi quoting until further notice.

What is the best free antivirus to use with an Acer Aspire One? I thought I saw some discussion of that issue on the Travel Technology Forum, but I cannot seem to find it.

Have had good results with AVAST, uses far less resources than AVG

If you want to enter your flights the pw is vandalay. Put your handle in the field for "plane name" and no entering flights until after they are flown. Try to match the format of the previously entered data for consistency sake. The most significant of these is to have a 4-digit flight number every time, even if it means prepending zeros.

Thanks will check it out, RDU based so might have a new line or two to add

Ahhh. AF. I can't tell you the number of times I heard "I'm sorry, you are on a very special fare so we can not help you" during that trip.

We did not have any issues thankfully, beyond crappy CDG security having only one lane open on the way home and causing many to miss their flights due to the backlog. We made it, but barely.

That's awesome! There have been some good fares down to SJO off and on over the past few months. It might be time to grab one. :D

Well, it looks like US just filed a $155 a/i fare from EWR-IAH/HOU. Perhaps this will cause CO to retaliate with cheap fares between the US hubs.

As long as CO doesn't respond with cheap fares between the US hublets?

I had to deal with the French version of SSSS in the elite passenger line at CDG. Of course, I actually expected such (being multi-racial).

I uninstalled the crap that it came with and put AVG on it. Seems to be working just fine for me.

Thanks.

I have been pulled aside a couple times myself, though I think it is my size [6'4" 315] more than anything as crappy as you experienced.

Our case was simply another French ambivalence - they did not care that the line was huge and people were missing their flight.

Afternoon Box.

Made it back to SFO and am sitting in the RCC (hold the , please :o) renewal lounge. While the internet's working I can't seem to get AIM to fire up  and am pleased to report that I was only "minimally violated" by CBP upon re-entering the US...so ^ I guess for them.
