Made it back to SFO and am sitting in the RCC (hold the , please :o) renewal lounge. While the internet's working I can't seem to get AIM to fire up  and am pleased to report that I was only "minimally violated" by CBP upon re-entering the US...so ^ I guess for them.

A shame. My "anonymous tip" suggested that they be extremely thorough.

I am in SFO too, BTW. You wouldn't happen to be on the 12:30am CO red-eye Mid-Con, would you?

Please substitute spätzle for the saurbraten and keep going on my behalf.

This German likes mounds of both, though spatzle is tip top.

I'm about to tuck into the potato pancakes and red cabbage sauerkraut. ^

Funny you should mention that. My EWR-SFO flight today nearly had one. Some lady a few rows ahead of me passed out in the aisle. A physician on board evaluated her, determined she would be okay to SFO, and we continued on.

I'm soon to be Irish - my first corned beef brisket will be done in about an hour and a half.

Did Chelsea "borrow" food from US? Glad the person on board was fine.

My fine Irish lass took tomorrow off as soon as she saw it would be 60 and sunny. We are doing the parade, Great Lakes Brewing Company for lunch and finishing off the afternoon at Stone Mad. The evening is up in the air...

I don't believe it was food related. Sounded (garbled, from three rows back) like it was some sort of pre-existing medical condition that went awry mid-air.

My future Fraulein is of German descent, as well, but that didn't stop her from catching cabbages, turnips and carrots at MSY's St. Patty's day parade this weekend (apparently they throw veggies at you from the floats, there )

I really do not get some people. I mean really, come now. Grrrr!

icurhere2 Mar 16, 2009 5:56 pm

I had a fine mail day (three checks, one gift card, etc.) except a mailing from TDAmeritrade specifically telling me that 0.02% of my portfolio "income" was tax exempt in Tennessee. Not two percent - two one-hundredths of one percent. Am I supposed to file an amended tax return?

I'm part German and none Irish but I like food.

I love watching Cops ^:)

Heading out to deposit those three checks - definitely worth a few minutes of my time for $650+.

Keep that up and you'll be crop dusting any potential loud talkers in the PC tonight.;)
