In case anyone cares, apparently CO introduced a bunch of cheap EU fares for Memorial Day weekend. These are cheaper than the ones before, but are only good for that weekend. PHL-EDI is a base of $145!!!

We stuck to water (Plus1 was working; I had to drive and then work) though since it was his birthday, went all out with bottled (I'm pretty certain BL JR went through one on her own. Why is it when she gets the free kiddie cup water she barely sips it but all of a sudden it's expensive bottle water in a wine glass and she is gulping it like well, water) and at dinner I only had a glass of prosecco (we went out for Italian).

Not alcohol - sitting in coach for 12+ hours. It was worth it, though, for 26k EQM in one trip. 31 DEF and 32 ABCJKL are really good, as well. Dontbbelieve seatguru. I think I actually prefer 31 to 32.

Now that's totally reasonable, if not cheap/a steal. I knew I wasn't crazy.

The most indignant I've ever been in my life was when I was younger working at Neiman Marcus selling designer jewelry and some lady (term used loosely) said "People like you eat there?" after i made a suggestion when she said she was going there for lunch.

Grr.. Now i'm all riled up.

I really need to start reading Sports Illustrated more. I started to chit chat with a nice looking man in a wheelchair tonight. I was teasing him about his foot injury and asking how he did it. He told me he had been walking on a broken foot for two years and he finally decided to fix the problem of floating bone chips with surgery. I asked his name so that I could order him a wheelchair upon arrival in IAH and then I went onboard to let the FSM (head FA) know.

The FSM l:rolleyes::rolleyes:ked at me and asked if I knew who that gentleman was. Of course not. Basketball isn't my favorite thing to watch on TV and how was I suppose to know that I was talking to Steven Jackson of the Warrior's basketball team.

When Mr. Jackson boarded, I teased him about not knowing who he was and he just smiled.

I still don't know who that is.;)

Thanks for the kind words, my friends in the box. Off to the Cleveland Clinic this morning, but unfortunately not in the same style as the Arab sheiks. I thought about leasing a 747SP, but alas none were available at short notice. I guess the Passat wagon will need to suffice! :cool:

Perhaps if you give us details we can spread out all over Europe through Mid June looking for it!:cool:
