You would be proud:

I'm staying in the Swissotel. Palm Chicago is in the Swissotel. There is a "Palm" button on at least two of the three room phones. I walk by the Palm every time I enter / exit the hotel. I'm going to bill my meal to my Swissotel room.

I make my reservation through OpenTable. ;)

I have stayed at that Swissotel and thought it was rather nice (although IIRC it was about five or six years ago).

I'm a little spoiled by Hyatt but must say the bed itself was phenomenal. And the staff put me in a lakeview room on the 37th floor, so I got to overlook Navy Pier and the lake. ^

ALCO's epic failure part III

After dropping our stuff at the hotel pulitzer we headed for the liedsplain. We stopped for lunch at what had to have been the greatest burger place on the planet. Words can not describe the food. We made it to the lidesplain and it was such a nice day that we decided to get tanked in vondelpark. XYZZY passed out in Vondelpark.

Well left vondelpark and headed to a Malaysian place for dinner. By the time we arrived our group had ballooned to a stout 17 people. Dinner was tapas/family style and it was in fact very good. Then we partied. While in the restaurant it started to rain and that rain would be off and on for the entire evening.

We left and headed to area just near Dam square. But a pit stop was required at a local coffeeshop were we had a coffee. Then we moved next door to the bar and started drinking. Several people were quite gone after taking a particularly acidic double shot of coffee. We went to rain bar, which was quite well priced.

Not sure if your wife cares, but Austin ISD and some of the surrounding ISDs require that teachers put their lesson plans into an IT system and the district directs which content is used.

Thanks. She teaches high school special education. Thanks for the heads up on that system, Hartmann. I'll let her know. It may be different for the special ed folks, but you never know.

Details, please? I'm going to AMS soon and need good ideas for food in the city.

That's how you get 20 prospects, huh? I don't suppose they have the same demand for social science? Right, thought so.

It's one thing if he is permitted to fart in bed, but it is quite another if he is allowed to do so as per a legally enforceable document. You really have to bring the original of that to a Do so we can have our pictures taken with it or something. It is a shrine to which all men should aspire in their relationships.

Poo. I wasn't paying attention in AM and put a plane's worth of routes on a 734 instead of a 735, and I'm too lazy to go find the suspect aircraft in my fleet.

It is on a canal in between the hotel pulitzer and the liedsenplain. Seriously, that's all I got.

I totally forgot about that burger place. It's on the Prinzesgracht, IIRC. Exact location would be a bit of a mystery, though.

Fortunately / unfortunately, TN doesn't recognize Social Science (which was the certification I held in MD) - one must certify in each of the cognate areas. However, this would mean decent opportunities as an economics teacher ...

Wow - coffee that causes reverse memory loss?

Nice. I forgot about the notarized doc.

Oh yeah, AM. I really should spend some time on it soon. The last few days have been crazy.

And to think, I'm only going on one trip in the next four weeks. This scares me.
