Bloc D' Rolleyes appears to be falling apart and needs some shoring up.
Anyone with an Asian hub interested in joining an alliance? Free lounge access for your frequent flyers, and an incredible US network accessible on UniCon's transatlantic 737 fleet with all coach seating and a luxurious 28 inches of seat pitch. We also run ATRs on flights under 7 hours in duration. Alliance hubs also available in Amsterdam, Mexico City, and London Heathrow. |
ALCO's epic failure part V
We left the coffee shop on one of the main drags of Amsterdam. I got some fries from a stand. XYZZY said he would have a couple, more like 1/3rd of the bunch. We then went to the "smallest pub in Amsterdam" just off of Dam square. There ALCO and his British friends left us FTrs in the bar and disappeared.
Now my stuff was in ALCO's room. This was fine except for no ALCO. However, Rolov allowed me to stay in his place that night. The next morning Rolov and I headed to the Liedensplain at around 1pm and stopped at a cafe for lunch. The view of the canal was great, but the waitress was smoking hot. She leaned over me to clean up the table, damn. (Being a guy is decidedly great sometimes). She was blond and dutch. I think I am in love......The food was pretty good, I had a sandwich, while Rolov had a tostie and some soup. We then headed to the Marriott to meet up with the rest of the FT crew. We all went to the dutch museum. ALCO finally showed his face to the world, and after the museum decided to go back to bed. |

We finally go have a light night coffee at one of the most touristy coffeebars in town. This is where ALCO has his crowning moment, the menu is hidden behind unlit glass and you have to push a button to light it up. ALCO pushes the button, it lights up. ALCO then removes his hand from the button and the light turns off. ALCO then looks at the menu which is now dark. He repeats this process several times and says, "what is wrong with the menu???"
Word of advice you have to hold the switch and read the menu at the same time. |
