Had I known over the weekend I would have been able to afford buying the DPS deal. :p

At least someone is living the good life! :D

Well when you live in a city with no public transit it is harder to get home safely! ;)

Into the airline with the word first in it.

But there is a First Air (7F) in CA and a First Choice (DP) in the UK.

Good stuff. FCO is nice, but BDA and money beats it.

Tell me about it. After that one time drinking on an empty stomach with sbm12, rolov, and ShellNYC I was so hoping I was going to sober up on the subway and train ride home before jumping into my car. May be I should take the bus on such occations since I could always do the 15 minute up hill walk from the bus stop.

You got me there. I think I'll have talks with the Bolt Bus division to see if they can provide some gate to gate services for me on airports that are too close to fly.

Should I really schedule a flight from IAD to DCA for aircraft utilization purposes?

Speaking of being  on the trip, the more I think about it the more I think it came from someone/something on our flight rather than food poisioning. Another person (who we met on the flight) was on my flights to and from AMS. He was sick with the same thing at about the same time. We all had different meals on the airplane and afterward. Finally, the  lasted quite a bit longer than it would from food poisioning.

Who was patient zero? I wasn't able to keep down real food reliably until early this morning.

I can now confirm that EK J is available on a RTW Reward Itinerary.

No. I'm satisfied if I can get 22 hours per plane. I think the closest I have come to full utilization is 23.8 hours, and I have no one-ways or alliance flights for the time being. I'm not a fan of one-ways, but I do have some alliance flights on the drawing board...just not sure if I want to pay for widebodies.

That's a sign of a well-done bachelor party, IMO.

You can all stay away from me. I was sick enough last week but nothing like what you guys are talking about.
