Looks like a MR in May: CLE-LHR

Requested by my former client - can't beat it when they call and ask you to come and have a drink with them... in London. Great prices from CLE also - $358 + taxes isn't bad at all for a direct.

Now all I need to do is get permission at home to go... :)

Drop the word former and replace it with potential or something like that when you ask for permission.

I just hope that someday, we can convince the powers that be to stock premium beers, in addition to premium spirits. For the record, there is nothing "premium" about Corona, and I would never pay a premium price to drink one. However, if we get down to brass tacks and start talking Chimay, Unibroue, St. Arnold's, Left Hand, Ommegang, Franziskaner, Lindeman's, Young's, Allagash, etc... then there's a good chance I'll put Larry's children through grad school.

Are you saying in similar fashion to the premium wines? I would say be careful of what you wish for as the more they go with charging for alcohol the sooner it all becomes pay as you drink a la RCCs (even with the drink chits).

Very excellent. As for my work - now it's time to take out some frustration on the racquetball court.

Both of these are Boxclusives...fiancee does not yet know about the caterer, and neither fiancee nor mother know of the offer.

Congratulations!

Actually, I believe I can convince S/O to join me - as he knows all the people in London too. And that turns it from just a MR into a party :)

I draw the line at Fritos and Peppercorn Parmesan spread.

WN has 735's? I thought they were all 733 and 73G.

Yep. They have a couple dozen of them. They mostly stick to shorter flights out of Texas markets, but do show up elsewhere too. WN was actually the launch customer for the 735 and is flying the first production 735, which I've managed to fly on at least once now.

Either it's really slow here at the South IAH PC or FT is getting hosed....or both.

Gotta catch my flight. Later Box.

I believe the last time I flew WN, it was on a 737-200 with rearward-facing seats in certain rows.

Thankfully those -200s are gone, as are all of the rear-facing "lounge" seats.

My first airplane trip was on WN — and in those days there was more lounge seating up at the front, and if I remember correctly, there were seats that ran parallel to aisle along the walls up in the front of the cabin.

That must be why I never see them, as the only Texas airport I fly to with regularity is IAH. I cannot ever recall seeing one at BWI, CLE, or other major WN airports that I frequent.

Yeah, the -200s had rearward facing seats up until they got rid of them, some time in 2003 or so.

I've posted on here before about those seats and how college girls did not understand the need for jeans on planes instead of short skirts.

The 733s and 735s had rear-facing seats as well, but were converted to all forward-facing as they installed the new seat covers. As far as I know, even the oldest of the 73Gs were delivered were all forward-facing seats.

More South Pacific Colors. Check out the thrust reverser doors on the TN 343 that just arrived:

CO's newest fierce rival: (also that's a 2nd V Australia plane at LAX. This one at the TBIT gate the whole 3-hours I was there from 5p to 8p)

Now, here a question/comment I have. What's with those faded "Continental" at CO's hanger? It looks horrible. Please paint it over!

And this one's for the real aeroplane geek. Whose plane is this and what's its connection with CO?
