no doubt, I flew South East today and sister flew North East, both had rough flights.
We were in clouds so thick I could not see the engine out my window at 27,000 feet down to a couple thousand!

Now an important question: I'm assuming that as soon as I go online and click thru the acceptance package, I should get my new boss on the phone and inform him of travel plans? Sooner the better on that, I would think.

I'm very interested in everyones thought on that too. I've been holding off booking a trip for the end of July because of that.

I am seeing huge inconsistencies in the PC product :(

DFW PC had no juices out, while IAH PCs have returned the juices to the food area. DFW PC had only 1-2 newspapers, IAH PCs have stacks.
DFW PC was 85 degrees IAH PC was less than 80.

IAH PC has fire alarm for 15 min and DFW PC is really quiet :D

And I have STILL not seen a walkers shortbread in dozens of trips since the announcement :( However there is nutella, I still don't know what to eat that with.

In previous hires, I have found that being able to honestly say that the trips are non-refundable and were booked before any part of the process started usually did the trick. Even as awful as the casinos are, they were kind enough to either log the time as unpaid and not count it as vacation, or they would advance the paid time and let the new guy go in the hole a little bit.

How long until TBL or cruisr find that here? ;)

What a bunch of smart arses....I CAN keep a secret. I read backwards, in other words starting with the most recent post and work backwards. I did NOT call TBL when I saw the message about the job. Instead I read backwards and found that it is a secret. SO shhhhhhhhh....I am not telling anyone.

Congrats on all accounts. What is the company?

I just hope that someday, we can convince the powers that be to stock premium beers, in addition to premium spirits. For the record, there is nothing "premium" about Corona, and I would never pay a premium price to drink one. However, if we get down to brass tacks and start talking Chimay, Unibroue, St. Arnold's, Left Hand, Ommegang, Franziskaner, Lindeman's, Young's, Allagash, etc... then there's a good chance I'll put Larry's children through grad school.

Looks like a MR in May: CLE-LHR

Requested by my former client - can't beat it when they call and ask you to come and have a drink with them... in London. Great prices from CLE also - $358 + taxes isn't bad at all for a direct.

Now all I need to do is get permission at home to go... :)

RU kidding? Nutella is best enjoyed as a stand alone. Take spoon, dip and eat.....I actually put a bunch in my purse and put them on toast with crunchy PB. Yummmmmy
