You mean to tell us that your wedding day will not be "the most important day of your life?"

I guess it depends on how you define "the most important day." Although, now that I think about it -- I don't think, under any definition, it will be the most important day. Unless she's lying to me, I think the Canuck and I are on the same page with this one.

It will be a wonderful party with our friends and family that will be designed around everyone's enjoyment, especially my significantly blonder half. Good food, good drink, beautiful setting, and a lot of laughter. If we can accomplish that, it will be a wonderful start into the journey of marriage.

I solemnly swear I won't turn the Box into theknot.com.

This is what we aimed for when we got married. Sure, it was important, but it was also a celebration for our friends and family.

We're coming up on a year now and prices to BZE for the anniversary are holding steady. ^

baglady's husband. It's not so much about the couple as it is about everyone.

Morning, Box.

World 2.0 will start sometime today, as promised earlier. Details will be posted upon finalization of everything. Look for a larger than normal cash balance to start, combined with the ability to have lots of hubs. Thanks to those who donated paid tokens, World 2.0 will be TARP-free but will still embody the concept of More is More. There are still four open spots, and a plurality of players indicated that the ATR-42 would be their start aircraft of choice. So it is written, so it shall be.

O.K. Tahiti is going to be very expensive, so I am off that now, but Fiji seems to have some nice affordable SPG properties, like $120 usd a night. ;)

Now I just have to figure out a way to get there on miles without traveling for 24 hours.

If it does not take at least 24 hours it is not an exotic destination :D

Meh, Mike and I had wedding bells tolling all up in this piece right before I got married in January and he was in the midst of planning in earnest, so don't worry about it. But kudos to you for understanding what your bride wants and making that happen. I had a lot more fun than I thought I would at my wedding because it was everything my wife had asked for.

Given the abundance of ATC delays, I guess EWR and PHL are often considered exotic by your definition.

Buenos , Box. Another day, another Antonov...

Quick AM question re building a new hub...can it be done with debt or does it require cash up front? I'm looking at a new hub in an airport with a 200K rent. I'd need to pick up four gates (800K) and then pay the one-time fee (12MM) but do I need to have that much in free cash?

Also, how long is one allowed to operate in the red?

This is one of the few songs I have absolutely forbidden from being played at our wedding.

On the rest of the wedding discussion - I agree that while the day is important for the couple, it should also be something that their friends and family enjoy. My fiancee and I have really kept this at the center of our wedding planning decisons. The saddest part about most couple's wedding planning is that they don't do any actual planning/preparation for their marriage and their life together - that is obviously the most important part.
