In still other news, the lovely state of California sent me my registration renewal for my truck for 2009-2010. In previous years, I've paid about $180, which I found to be extortion after coming from a state like Texas where most fees are a tad south of bloody insane. After the tax and fee increases, my registration is now $278 for one year. Never have I been more happy to be moving to AUS so that I don't have to pay that.

Fortunately, it was still at the previous prices, but $215 was a bit much compared to NJ's $60 or so. I really don't miss living in CA, it's fun to visit. |

I just had to renew my CA registration since the bank couldn't get the title back to NJ quickly enough and I didn't want to risk having an unregistered car.

Was just on the website for the Nationwide Motor Club - membership was $52 a year or $4 a month. Does any other company provide an installment plan cheaper than a single payment plan?

Beers don't credit for 24 hours (at least they're quicker than CO). Then, I gotta print out my 200 Beers Certificate from Teh Saucer's Beer-O-Tron, and schedule my plating ceremony.

O.K. Tahiti is going to be very expensive, so I am off that now, but Fiji seems to have some nice affordable SPG properties, like $120 usd a night. ;)

I define exotic as one runway, no taxiways, a u-turn at each end, and the terminal is optional. ^:D Oh, yes, and on another continent.
