Had a nice surprise on my IAH-ATL flight — glcarter was booked on the same flight as me, but across the aisle in 1B (I was in 1F). 1E's wife was in 1A, so after a trade, glcarter and I ended up next to each other. Great flight, with an outstanding flight attendant working up front, and great catching up with him. Always nice to see a familiar face on my regular commute between ATL and Texas/Louisiana.

I was fairly sure I recognized ssullivan from two Do's ago, but was not completely sure. After wondering what to do for about ten minutes, I had a thought... Check the pda! And sure enough there it was - "Sul, S 1F." Hooray!

It was a great flight and great fun. Quite a few stories swapped. AND, I was on vacation so some booze flowed - well for me at least. Alas, young ssullivan had work to do and couldn't join me but for one glass of wine at lunch.

One of the best FA's I have encountered in quite some time. Very professional, thorough, and attentive. Not particularly cheery though. Called us all by name for the duration of the flight. I thought ssullivan and I landed upgrades onto an LH flight.

I don't post often here, but at least I know how to lurk and end up with unexpectedly fun conversation out of the blue every now and then on CO!!

I must talk to the in-flight people at First  Ted to make sure that line isn't being used.

There's no room to park near the gates. For flights from Asia/Pacific, they all get towed to the far west end of the LAX. You can play "name those airlines":

For CO, they just taxi over to the hanger. When I got there at 5p, only one 738 was inside. The other 2 738s and the 752s came after I arrived.

Far left plane: have no clue
Air New Zealand
Korean Air
Eva Air
Philippine Airlines

Plus1 was less than thrilled at the report. If this is happening at a sweet little private school, can't wait for public school next year!:rolleyes:

Ouch. Sometimes the physical stuff is better than the verbal crap that comes later. Next year you get to deal with the PTA Mommies for the next 6 years. Then BL JR will hit the 7th grade when the queen bees start their cliches. Lots of drama coming your way.

Actually sfogate was wrong about one of them, and all of your subsequently haven't picked it out.

Granted, I was wrong myself, when I first saw the plane yesterday, making the same mistake.
[Edit: Nevermind. rolov saw it...]
