CM, I agree with you that I hate doing things I can do at home while I'm on vacation, but I run myself so ragged during my "real" life, sometimes just napping on a beach is bliss. When we do our usual 2 week bonanza in August I usually do 4 days site-seeing/cultural then 4 days beach then 4 days site-seeing. It's a nice way to package up a long vacation. |

I actually have not called them since about early March. Our flights are in pretty good shape - right now we're just on 2 different ICN-LAX flights that leave within 4 hours of one another. The only other options I see on KVS right now are 2 seats on BKK-NRT(NW)-ATL(DL)-EWR(DL) but the BKK-NRT flight leaves at 5am. :rolleyes: I still have hopes that KE will come through with another reward seat on one of our ICN-LAX flights! |

The food and beaches are stunning. IMO, only Aruba has better beaches. Grenada, Barbados, and Grand Cayman are close, but SXM and AUA are tops, I think. Best uncrowded beaches in the Caribbean have got to be in PUJ, IMO. There were a few Germans and French skulking about when I was there, but the beaches were essentially vacant.
