No U.S. airline is a better candidate for failure than US. Further, few international airlines (AZ, I'm looking your direction) are better candidates for failure than US.

I personally like having US in business because it gives me an airline to make fun of. US is the little engine that could but failed in the end.

No way az fails. the unions and the Italian general hatred of the germans will keep it in business.

I am at the gate for Disney 1, there are more kids than adults running around.

I really wish CO would at least try and protect the empty seat next to a Platinum. I'm still in the clear for my flights to/from FRA this weekend, but I'm getting worried oh what will happen at check in...

I intentionally picked a seat a little further back so that hopefully the open one next to me stays that way.

You could book a second seat and hold it... not that I would condone such an action.

And look at belynch being a big boy in the other thread. :)

AZ and Air One got merged and an outside firm came in and bought 25%, along with the 25% that AF-KLM bought. AZ is going to suck for a long time still, but it's not dying.

Maybe I should do that for the outbound. On the return, I'll want empower.

I could also just click on that "Upgrade Reservation Using Miles" link and take care of all seating concerns. :)

That other thread es no mas. At least I had a chance to get in something witty and demeaning as per Steve GadFly's request. :D I don't demean because I can...I take the options that are presented to me. :)

Fire a peashooter at me, I answer with a howitzer. Proportional response sucks.

That's a scary concept. I'm remembering my sisters who used to have a binder of stickers called "Stuck on Stickers" while growing up.

That's always a nice option as well. If your flight is looking full, you could pray to the op-up gods.

I don't have that link... :(

There are 11 seats open in front of me... If there are that many people who have to get assigned at the airport, I'm praying for an op-up.

My chances for an upgrade on the IAH-EWR 777 are slim to none too, as it's pretty much full.
