When are you booked for the original ?

August. I was thinking of booking one for Feb or sometime next winter, when it's cold here.

Excellent!

Not for me. I still had to deal with it. At least I knew how to deal with it since I'm use to working with much, much, much larger union contractors. When me and my contractor were talking with the town they rolled their eyes and said "He's up to old tricks again. We'll take care of it."

I heard the forman call the office to see if they had a record of the phone number that made the call it turned out to be the other contractor. It sounded like PSE&G is going to send him a bill for the cost of the bogus call.

Wow, amazing. Some people are really just stupid.

If he's known for shenanigans like this, i'm surprised no one has pulled his license.

That's just what I meant - the  guy is getting the unpleasant surprise he deserves.

I think that's what the town meant by we'll take care of it. When I last talked to my contractor on Saturday he said the other guy shouldn't be an problem anymore.

The problem in NJ is you can just turn right around and start up a new company with a new name after you get your licensed pulled.

Received my latest US Mint order today. It was screwed up and was billed extra for 2 misc. Sacajawea rolls (all I got was Sacajawea coins this shipment - so I'm sure Wells Fargo is going to be thrilled!). I'm beginning to think it's not worth all the trouble which I know others have already said.

The problem with booking for that time will be who to credit the ST segments to .

UA gets a worse rap on this forum than it deserves, in my opinion. What's ironic is that the majority of UA critics seem to be those who rarely or never fly them. My opinion of UA has continued to improve as I fly them more and more.

I rarely fly them because each of the four times that I took them in the past few years, they stunk to high heaven. Now I will fly them next month because they were the only award available. I will report.

I believe I have found a promising locale for a future Box DO: Lake Poopó

Dunno about TripAdvisor, but there were some reviews of them here in the thread on the fare. I think that SpinDrift is a notch above Ruby's from what I remember.

Spindrift Resort Hotel

Ruby's Hotel (received some not so good reviews)

Royal Caribbean Resort

The spindrift seems to have received better reviews except for one who claimed the cops tossed their room suspecting them of being drug dealers. The photos also look better than Ruby’s

I ended up selecting the Royal Caribbean Resort at $125 a night. It was not my first choice, but I am sure it will be fine based on reading the mostly positive reviews.

Apparently we have family friends who recently bought property down there. If I can get that I'm taking it. If not I'll likely head to SpinDrift. I'm trying to save money on the room knowing that we're going to be spending a lot on dive trips every day. As long as there is a/c and hot water in the showers I don't really care about anything else. And I know that it is a small town, but I don't want to be all the way out at the end of town since I'm not going for a resort.
