I always either sneak into the employee lot or find a nearby surface lot. I used to always stay at the Westin FLL until they instituted a 'tarded parking fee "because they could." I stayed there so often for a while that I used to be personally greeted by the GM.

After one round of parking fees I started staying at the Sheraton Suites across 95 and after a half year or so I pinged the GM and said "how's that parking fee working out for you?" And attached a .pdf of all of my folios from the Sheraton.

It is my personal mission in life to get people to understand the high cost of small fees. That and the demise of NJ.

My biggest gripe is actually internet fees at higher-end SPG Hotels. The ones in Europe are the most egregious . $40/night for teh toobz? AYFKM?! This isn't 1987, we're not in Bangladesh, and I'm not asking you to install a telegraph key in my room!

Give me a ping, Vasiliy. One ping only, please.

While some may be upset about the OSU victory, we here in OK are happy. I am ready for the weekend, been dealing with a head cold since coming back to work.

I wish it was 1987. If it was, I'd probably be taking a nap right about now.

A year late for me. IIRC, nap-time as a regularly featured portion of my day terminated around 1986. Little did I know when they took it away that I wouldn't get it back for about 60 years.

I told her to just show her card at check in so she wouldn't have to deal with baggage fees and also for elite access. She got to the counter and the agent said her card was expired. The agent didn't bother looking the account up and the nanny, of course, didn't push it  I'm having a card printed out for her where she is so she doesn't have to deal with it on the way home but now I feel like the nanny's travel nanny

I think we're actually the same age.

In other news, the best part of the FoxNews Spider story was the random discussion of priotism at the end.

I am proud to say I have never paid the "rape" charges for parking. I usually try to find street parking somewhere.
