No mystery. Try getting a decent seat on the FLL-ATL morning flight.

You could have given him a few dollars on top of the 22 Euros. I once paid and tipped for one taxi ride in three different national currencies all of which were accepted with gratitude by the driver.

I think I might get a  or two if I broke out my stash of Baht, Soles, Kroner and Rand in a mainstream country.

I turned off my email notifier when I realized I received about 400 emails a day. It was non-stop.

[dorky comment that probably only jrzyshawn will appreciate]We switched the cell phone ringtones of a few crew members to the Midi tones that activate our EMS pagers and then randomly call their phones when they were on call. :D:rolleyes::o[/dorky comment that probably only jrzyshawn will appreciate]

In even more other news, my ArgentinianAustraliaGerman intern just said "mir auch" (me too), except I thought she said "meow." I thought she was doing the SuperTrooper routine.

Wow. A very awkward 10 minutes just elapsed. I need to leave.

Well, it was in a semi-mainstream country. It was Uruguay and when the driver realized that I did not have enough local currency to cover the inflation sheet on the window, he was quite happy with the Uruguayan and Argentinian Pesos along with a few dollar bills.

Next time I meet ya'll in person (and the Canuck isn't around) remind me to tell you the story about tipping the maid at the 4 Points Santa Monica $5 NZD.

You don't want it. We were outside the other day in Alaska in 30 below with wind. You cannot believe how quickly you start to freeze. I am never going back there in the winter. Period.

My parents were in Lapland last week. Not quite as cold, but similar observations about never going back in the winter.

One of the venues for the NCAA tourney is DAY. They just showed a shot from inside the museum that CM keeps shilling here in the Box. Looks half decent. I may have to actually consider it now.

In other news, Pitt is tied going in to the second half with Tennessee State, a 16 seed.

sbm12 are you thinking of going anywhere for a MR to get the DEQM's?

We were OK the day before in 20 below without much wind. Even went for an outdoor swim. But the next morning was pure torture.
