The best one that comes to mind is when I upped SFO-IAD-LAX for 1 500. Riddle me that. :D:D

Well, I was able to confirm one of 5 segments of my HNL trip immediately. It was the very last one - ORD-EWR in ExPlus. :rolleyes:

I've got a few months yet (trip is end of October) for the EWR-ORD-SFO-HNL-ORD segments to clear. Yes, I know it is a long shot with no status, but it will be nice if it happens.

FWIW my HNL turns only cleared a few days before hand for my travel in March and rumor is that UA's been holding back F on that route until shortly before departure...must be picking up some bad habits from CO.

I'm pretty sure that surgical titanium would not set the sensor off, but surgical steel - like any other steel item - does. All depends on the type of implant, some are pure titanium or steel, others are blends which would be hit or miss. Also depends on the screening mechanism - I wear the same belt every week, some it sets the sensors off, other times it doesn't. It's a TSA cr*p shoot. :)

In other news, I'm still trying to recover from last night's trip to the Love Shack here in Fort Worth.

Perhaps you need to talk to my father. We had one in the late 70s early 80s. I dont know what he did to convince my mother to keep it but he did.
