I waited over 45 mins once for the Westin DFW van. The hotel is great, and fairly close to the terminal, but their van service is completely . Next time I'm overnighting in DFW, I may just opt for the Hyatt built in to the terminal.

The Double Dirty Love Burger was frigging awesome. And the music was good too. All-in-all a great time there. It is cash-only, so be prepared for that.

May I recommend a pair of Lucchese boots; Probably the best boots I have ever bought.

I love statements like this.

I don't post here often,

So not often means never before?

The joke below does not reflect the opinions of the teller…..he just thought it was funny and would kill for a ride in a Z4 convertable.

What’s the difference between a porcupine and a BMW?

The porcupine has the pricks on the outside. :D

sounds like you are more adept to fit in than me, a native texan. I have had one pair of cowboy boots in my life, about age 8, a cousin insisted to buy them for me as he was working at Cavender's boot city.
I think boots, cowboy hats, and massive belt buckles are all

I think I wore boot twice, and a cowboy hat 3 times, once was in a play and I took it off as soon as it was over. I don't even like a baseball cap on.

I agree about the hats (for the most part, they do serve a purpose) and the belt buckles, but boots are functional. I wear mine as "dressed-up" and as casual wear or when hunting. They're comfortable, they look nice, and they last forever.

Why would that site ask me to install Simplified Chinese on my browser.

Surprised no one has started a new thread called:
UA inappropriately touching passengers, will CO match?

Thanks, Hartmann. I will look for those. I definitely want something simple and comfortable. :)

I'm Ron Burgundy?

ETA: It looks like the website is using a counter from a Chinese fake counter: http://www.dynamoo.com/blog/2008/06/...users51la.html

The shopping trip is being orchestrated by a co-worker. She is set on getting boots, and there is little doubt she'll look awesome in them.

I'm just the driver. And if I find something - great.

One of my earliest travel memories is going to MUC in 1986 with my parents to pick up the new 325. Pretty cool. :D

My sister just bought a car last week (red Jetta - now we are VW siblings, too!) and I had fun looking around the BMW dealership down the street and drooling. The 125 is actually quite cute...maybe someday...

CLE was crazier than I've seen it in a while. Thank goodness for priority boarding.

Chilling in 1A (might be my first time ever in this seat, I think!) as we board huge quantities of people, en route to DEN...

Oh, and also - new month - new CO magazine. This is the "75th Anniversary issue." Should be interesting.

But has he seen the inside of a Turkish prison?

I've never found the CO magazine to be particularly interesting. UA actually manages to put out a decent in-flight read.
