No. I primarily used the Metro (which is excellent, but does not run all the way to the Airport), and splurged for a car and driver to do the winery tour (I overslept and missed the cheaper option of a tour company's bus to the winery). There is a cheap ($4) bus that connects you from the airport to Pajaritos Metro Station (about a 7 minute bus ride). The Metro costs about $1, regardless of how far you ride, and is nicer than most subway systems I have ridden.

Rental rates were ridiculous for this weekend. However, if the price was right, I wouldn't hesitate to rent a car there. The highways are extremely modern and well-maintained, and the drivers seemed courteous and well-behaved. Most of the highways do involve tolls that vary based upon congestion and time of day. At off-peak times, tolls appeared to be about 10 cents per kilometer.

You're a wealth of wonderful travel information! ^ SCL is a possibility for last 2010, so this information is good to know.

I'd be up for going to Europe this weekend but don't want to burn the miles. :(

The odds of that cover story holding up are  to 1. Bumping into someone you know at Disney World is nearly a given...bumping into someone you know on the other side of the planet, not so much.

But it actually is random, I booked a mistake fare from Asia-N America which I managed to route via SYD, picked the latest SYD flight to create a stopover and it happens to place me there on the day he is arriving.

My powers of comprehension have dimmed at this late hour. I must go don my Smart Cape.

I couldn't pull that off in the same town.

I don't think I could either. I'm really good at some parts of tradecraft. I am exceedingly good at sneaking up on people for a guy my size, and I'm pretty good at following people, but faking the human interaction isn't something I excel at.

Exactly! I already mentioned the possibility by the S/O so I don't get  if we do run in to each other. She loved the car idea. :D

If we were experts at human interaction, would we spend as much time as we do hanging out on this website?

I'll start going through the couch cushions... If I happen to find $1400 in loose change, I'll let you know. ;)

I have HBO running in the background and they are showing Ghost Town. I can't believe that was made into a movie. Think Sixth Sense as a boring comedy.
