You do know this hotel is across the Bay, on the Oakland side of CA.

Watching CNBC - they are talking about the AA flyer with 31 million AAdvantage miles.

Yep, just found out it is totally in the boonies of the reclamation projects and wildlife refuge too, I am not booking it just yet, I may go for Hyatt instead.
I somewhat want one a bit away from SFO for the first few days, I am thinking to come back in closer on the 26th and 27th (I am leaving on the redeye the 27th)

Yeah. Personally, I'd never stay there if I was planning on being in San Francisco.

I am tying to stay in several places, and normally like W's but W's that are  not so much.

I really was liking it for free parking, several of the other SPG properties are $48/night, I'd even pay $12-15 a night, but $48....no thanks.

How far away from the City or airport do you want to be? Looking for anything in particular to be near?

I'd secure Diamond with the stays at Hyatt's, may just go that route. It looks like they may have improved the benefits of Diamond a bit to actually make that worth it.

I've always thought a few nights at the The Westin Verasa Napa followed by a few nights in San Francisco (Westin, SR, W, etc.) would make for a long weekend mixed with quiet relaxation and some city fun.

I will have a car, within 50 miles of SFO is fine, I plan on making some day, and night trips out and about, not looking for anything in particular, I'd like less than $140/night all in with parking and taxes that is my main concern, as I don't plan on being cooped in the hotel the entire time I see no need to spend more. And I am by myself, so not needing to share any special moments with someone ;)

Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel and Spa is coming in $100/night cheaper for a similar experience :D
