Evening, box!
Unfortunately, my eyes are not cooperating and keep closing. Thanks to all my fellow boxers for the well wishes, good thoughts, and prayers. It is wonderful to be home and while dosing off to FT I was thinking MRs and upgrades :D

Awesome. I loved the bunny ears on the chest-burster from Alien.
I think "Rocky Horror" or "A Christmas Story" are my favorites but there are really no 'misses' in the whole collection. |

WOW. Check out that high tech screen. I'm sure there was an enormous mid-1980s vintage video projector (the kind with the three big colored lenses on the front) hanging from the ceiling over row 2 or 3, right?

My fiancee stayed at a Marriott in Baltimore this week, and one of her colleagues said the walls were thin to the point that said colleague heard a guy pooping.
I've heard quite a few things through hotel walls/doors. Never that though. Worst ever is still the couple in the suite next to mine at the Hyatt in Auckland. I was in the residences tower there, which was built to double as condo units. There was an adjoining door between my suite's living room and an adjacent bedroom, which was not a full suite, allowing my suite to be sold as a two bedroom unit (or that room to be sold as a regular, non-suite room). The female in this couple was so loud she might as well have been on the sofa of my living room. I could only hear the voice of her male companion, and they were quite conversational during the act. The entire experience is best compared to what a blind man on the set of a porno would probably experience — an overload of aural stimulation, without being able to see a d@mn thing. |

I was pretty sure that the U.S.S. Nimitz traveled back in time so Kirk Douglas could stop the attack? No matter how badly FDR wanted an excuse to get into the war; I sincerely doubt that he'd give up most of the 7th Fleet to get one. As a former Assistant Secretary for the Navy, he'd know that would making winning the war he wanted in so badly pretty tough. Yep. I've seen one of the federal government's prison charters at IAH a few times recently, and those flights never show up on FlightAware.

Yes, the lead pipe is replaced, and the flight departs BNA at 0920 for ATL, arriving ATL at 1126, which leaves approximately 4 hours to torment bartenders on my tour of SkyClubs before AUA.

Totally agree. I say it should be done after PRG. The biggest issue, IMO, is space. We could open it to the forum or keep it in The Box, and follow the same format that the fundraiser does. We charge $10/person, and we could either charge to defray costs or charge to create a cash prize.

Deadly weapons. You don't want to mess with girls carrying them.
Those are the bows for kyudo, Japanese archery. (Wow, that's a route I don't imagine many Boxers have. It also seems to be a route that may not exist anymore.) Apparently Tainan is the fishing capital of southern Taiwan. There are many stocked ponds where folks pay to fish. All I saw was a melamine factory. :( |

There's actually four NW lounges there. Three in A, and one in B.
My statement about an hour being enough to have time for a drink in all of the three in A still stands because I do not think that it would be easy to add the B lounge in that amount of time and still get to your departure gate. |
