My speakerphone refused to work yesterday - hard reboot fixed it.

I've already done a couple of reboots (<ALT> + <RIGHT SHIFT> + <DEL>) and a battery pull. It's not fixing it. I did install a new app last night so I uninstalled it, but it's still broken.

One nice thing about the ancient 8700g - was walking with a colleague and we were on a call, so I had to put it on speaker. I dropped the phone, kicked it down the sidewalk and it bounced down the concrete steps. Didn't even lose the call.

Those were indestructible, much like the old Nokias.

Actually, $300k per pound - would have been worse for him if not in the contract that way (Nevada fine would have been $1 million instead of $600k).

Mood lighting is neat. Coolest thing is that when I grab my camera to take pictures from the back, the FA saw me, and switched the lights so I can have pictures of 2 different "moods".

How was the rest of the flight?

Trying to decide where to book my reservation for the next trip to Baton Rouge in a few weeks. The Hilton has the nicest room, best bed, and best lounge for breakfast. The Marriott has the best staff, by far the best lounge in the evenings, but rooms are just average, it's the most distant from the client, and has ridiculously slow elevators that can add 10 minutes to my morning commute. Then there's the Sheraton, which has a mostly bleh lounge, average rooms that are slightly better than the Marriott's. Service at the Sheraton is usually pretty blah, and they never manage to get my 500 point platinum amenity posted.

Requalification wise, I need stays/nights at all three. Hilton has no bonus, Marriott has the fall Megabonus, and SPG has its usual multiple bonus offers.

Why can't I stay in the Hilton's building/rooms (it's a historic hotel completely renovated a couple of years ago), with the Marriott's staff, the Hilton's morning lounge service and Marriott's evening lounge service, and SPG's promos?

From what you describe (needing all for status), the answer seemed to be Hilton. More time commuting after sleeping (or not) in a subpar (comparatively) bed equals less sleep.

Just kicked it down the steps this week. Has a lot more scratches now than it had accrued in years of service previously.

Outside of it not ringing, only vibrates, my old Nokia is still going strong. Better sound quality than my 1 year old Motorola.
