UA's routing rules are probably part of the reason their cash flow is in the toilet. But, as long as they're willing to be so lax, I'm willing to take advantage of it.

Funny thing is I'm actually more productive while flying than I am on the ground. There are fewer distractions, like FT. I got a lot of work done in the remaining 2-2.5 hours of my IAD-LAX flight on Monday after the movie I was watching was finished. Somehow being in the air helps cure my ADD nature.

I ventured out of the box, this can't be good.

That's too funny.

I need to save that, and other posts, and print them out for the native Atlantans I know that question why I never fly their hometown airline.

EUR's back under 1.48. That's 4-for-4: I post the price in the box, it reverses hard and fast. You guys should have a hedge fund.

Offline now.

Bad fozz. You know as well as the rest of us that doing that usually results in much ,,, and .

Google translate is reasonably accurate.

Detained by USCIS twice.
hunted in AMS for an Angolan hooker.
Chipped my chin on a concrete.
Worst sunburn of my life.
Tanked on a beer called titanic.
Slept in a hooker hotel near LAX, a heating grate near JFK, and IAD which was worse than both.
Spent two nights in PBI.
Spent one night in POS and convinced the returning crew I was deported from Trinidad.
Sang Rick Astley in some bar in Brussels.
Went SYD-LAX-ORD-MAN without a layover.
Saw a Man U game.
More
Contributed to the next DL bankruptcy.
Went to SYD.
Mugged at glass shard point in BOG.
Almost thrown out of a minor league baseball game.
Ran from Cops in Alabama.
Got my friend tickets to CUN for spring break.
Argued with Kiwis at some semi-prestigious lounge in LAX.
Made a ton of new friends.
Spent a night in a very depressing HI in FNT.
Been to every RCC in IAD.
Did St. Patrick's day in DUB.
Did DUB, and AMS in WBC/BF.
Going to SIN.

Wouldn't change a thing.

Cr@p has it only been two years that I have been here.

Imagine what your list would be like if you joined when I did

How tacky would it be for me to send a meeting request to a coworker to schedule a WebEx session with her to show her how to look at my calendar, and the calendars of other potential attendees, when scheduling meetings? It's not quite noon here on the left coast, and since I arrived at the client three hours ago, she has tried to set up FIVE separate meetings with me, on different topics, for the next month — all of which she's stuck on Mondays or Fridays when I'm on a flight. My flights are loaded into my calendar. It's pretty obvious when I'm free and when I'm not, if she was just check my calendar first.

And don't get me started on the fact that she wants this many conference calls about this crap.

Or pasta. UA loves the mixture of three kinds of stuffed pasta on the same tray in trans-Atlantic Y. It's the same meal I've seen in long-haul domestic F dinner on UA, but served on plastic instead of china. Apparently my foodie partner still has nightmares about that dinner, as well as the overcooked to the point they were crunchy pancakes we had on the return of the same trip.

But, as you pointed out, the product wasn't selected for the food. It was selected for the fare mistake and E+ leg room.

I prefer ua tatl y food to co's tatl y food. At least with UA you get a green salad, not the yellow one CO serves.

I just realized we joined fairly close to each other. How long did you lurk before taking the plunge and signing up? I was a lurker since sometime in October or November of 1999, but it took a few years before I decided to do more than just read the posts here.
