What fun. We just spent 30-45 minutes here working on figuring out how to set up some "special" employee who has all kinds of weird stuff going on so that he'd get paid correctly. We finally got it all done, and he's calculating correctly…
…And just now the Assistant HR Director received an e-mail stating that the employee we spent a third of the morning dealing with had resigned. |

You will get your chance in early October. The TalkMail Newsletter has strongly hinted that there will be a "Win a Business-Class Ticket to the :-: Mega-DO" PWP Thread in CommunityBuzz the first week of October.

The Mileathon rules are really restrictive. Discount economy fare classes do not count for anything.
I'll only snag a few thousand miles out of the current Mileathon, considering I'm not flying CO much during the bonus period, and I'm mostly accruing Mileathon points through car rentals. |

Brit, you can do JFK-ZRH this weekend for under $300 on DL. No hotel needed as you do a straight turn. Out Sat night and back Sunday night.

Half-cent jump in EUR in two minutes just now; 1.4825. Those Oktoberfest beers just keep getting more and more expensive. Make that 1.4835.

My options are:
1) $223 EWR-ORD-EWR on UA 2) $335 EWR-IAD-DEN-ABQ-ORD-EWR on UA. WWTBD? I'm leaning towards option 2, even though it's almost a full day of flying.

The meals on DL were not as bad as I was expecting. I had pasta and pizza and it was ^ for a coach meal.

I cancelled by post, then by email. I'm still getting the emails.  Does that meet your standard?
I thought I would have a job by now, and I don't. The Mega-Do was going to be my birthday present to myself. :( If I am considered to be a member of some pissant inferior "Hall of Shame" (ooh, I felt more guilty just typing it) because of circumstances beyond my control dictating my need to cancel my attendance at a very expensive party, so be it. I manage my own life, no one else. And by the way, if we are such a shameful lot, those who look down from their lofty holier than thou perch are welcome to cease their mingling. |

I googled it and it takes me to a subscribe page which returns a 404 error. |

And that $112 equates to over 5,700 EQMs. It' just insane that somehow that is a valid routing.

While I'm sure I know the answer to this, it's still fun to ask.
I'm working on booking a positioning flight for one of the ORD-GEG fares. I have to take a nonstop back on Monday morning as i'll be going straight to work. My options are: 1) $223 EWR-ORD-EWR on UA 2) $335 EWR-IAD-DEN-ABQ-ORD-EWR on UA. WWTBD? I'm leaning towards option 2, even though it's almost a full day of flying. |
I nearly spit on my monitor when I read this.

How's Google Translate's accuracy? I have no idea what those letters really spell out.
Apparently, very good. |
