Alright South Carolina (and former Redskins coach Spurrier) - you have to go for two when up 12, even with 6:57 remaining in the third.

I don't know what precisely is the difference about wild boar but the taste is remarkable. I usually go to F Scott's once per quarter but went many times that quarter.

It is all about what they eat. Apparently a ridiculously high percentage of food that most Americans consume is based on corn or corn-fed animals. It skews the taste and also is apparently rather bad from a macro-health perspective.

Don't forget his glory years as a coach at Florida and the Heisman he won playing with them 30 years prior. :-:

Disagree slightly - a 12-point lead is still a two-possession lead. Increasing the lead to 14 still technically makes it a two-possession game.

And increases the cost of our gas ... I did have nine yummy grass-fed Argentinian steaks in three days in AUA (one package had five steaks instead of four like the first).

I agree you have to go for 2.

Playing the number four team in the nation (a team that is also theoretically more athletic), I would assume that allowing two TDs in 1.5 quarters is not an unreasonable assumption.

I tend to agree with ConciergeMike. The middle of the third quarter is too early to start fooling around with two pointers. More who have tried it have been burned than have gained an advantage. The smart coaches know that it is a near-the-end-of-game strategy only (since everybody has an automatic extra point kicker nowadays).

Um ... I had to watch Steve Spurrier coach the Redskins ...

The old coach seemed to have checked his smarts at the door or used them all up figuring out how to spend Danny-boy's money.

icurhere2 Sep 24, 2009 8:16 pm

Yes, the old ball coach didn't seem to remember jack in the pros.

monitor Sep 24, 2009 8:18 pm

He thought that the pros only needed him to give them a ball and they would know what to do with it.

There are numerous books on this and one of the authors is Michael Pollan.

The history of our food administration is extremely interesting and worrisome.

Animals that eat what they do in the wild usually have more flavorful carcasses and more health value.

I could really go in to this topic because it really interests me but I'm on my phone.

Spurrier was wrong (and a bad NFL coach).

In AUA I did find some Dutch gangmaker pastries (like I toted from the Netherlands to France). These will be part of breakfast tomorrow.
