One thing that I would like to see (probably v2.0) would be a thumbnail of a picture if there's a gallery available for the seats. :-:

I love how such trivial topics on FT can spiral out of control.

No kidding. It amazes me that people (1) take an Internet discussion board so seriously and (2) rant on and on about how they don't like a product they don't even use. If you don't like or don't fly CO, please don't waste your time (or mine) posting in the CO forum about it. :-:

If the US forum (and to a lesser extent DL) is to be believed, this line of logic would make you what I believe they call over there an apologist. Complaints and reasonable questions are one thing, but calling out every little flaw in the way an airline does business because it's not the way that any one person would do it is just ludicrous.

FlyerTalk's absurdity factor has gone thru the roof in the last year or so.

Should we start banking posts on A.nut as insurance?

Another quick question for you folks

The auto checkin on the return leg - is it done exactly at +24? I am looking at a dicey upgrade situation, so I am wondering if I should be sitting at the laptop with my atomic clock doing it manually? TIA.

While I agree and generally identify with the  that FT has experienced in the last year or two, I am also reminded of how much awesome is around as well. Though our little Box attempt at putting a travel site together fizzled out (as most things like that do), Seth is carrying on and putting some of those ideas together with his talents and I'm sure it will be awesome when it's done. We also have The Box and I personally enjoy friendships with many people in the CO forum, and the forum itself has excellent moderation. I'd really like to start working again so I can make it to the DOs around IAH and EWR. But really, at the end of the day, I spend a lot of time here and it has been an invaluable resource for travel and other choice topics, and that is due to the people. There's always bad apples, but it could be much, much worse.

Hey at least the troll of all trolls is no longer with us.

I always go to the US board when I want amusement :)

It is generally before anything you can do manually. I'd not fret about it.

I'm going to be coming back to the group for help/content, so don't think that PBCLLC is dead yet. I'm just getting the infrastructure done first. Generating content will be next, and that's the part that actually needs many heads contributing.

My experience is that it can run as a minute or two later than 23.59 or it can run right then.

It absolutely could be worse. It could be the UA forum...fists made of iron and personalities poured from molten lead.

There are a few people vying to take over that esteemed title. I know we can't eradicate them all, but certain pests in certain fora have been exterminated much to the joy of the majority.

Good to know that you are working on getting an appropriate horse to pull the cart. I thought the idea was DOA myself.
