Good morning, box.

Gottta go check on the boat today. Windy as all get out overnight and calling for waves 12-16 ft on Lake Erie. Hope all is still intact.

Good morning Box.

For some reason I just can't stand Embassy Suites breakfasts anymore. I rather pay for something instead.

That's really disturbingly funny.

Did you get to experience the tugless pushback?

I will never forget having one of those on a 737.

I'm up, I'm up. I never said that I wanted to be, however.

Morning, Box.

G'morning, Box. Another day of  on the horizon here.

Family visits are cutting into MR opportunities in October and November. :(

Morning Box!

The fruit options on the UIO-IAH flight were actually ^

I've been disappointed in the past, receiving half-rotten fruit in F.

Ecuadorean coffee is extremely tasty and I'm glad I stocked up for $5/pound while I was down there.

I feel that way about hotel stays (the only place I'm able to maintain status) as there are no Marriott properties near my parent's place, strangely enough. It's a prime location for a Fairfield Inn too.

Morning Box. I feel another morning of . I must finish my revised workshop PowerPoint today and go play with the auditoriums AV system to make sure my changes work. Then I have to relearn everthing I'm supposed to say in this one as I haven't presented it since early May.

Morning Box!

The UA specials for this weekend are rather  as well, so I think I'm stuck on the ground.

I reached legit SPG Gold this past weekend (the hard way) and I am now on my way towards Plat (the easy way!). ^ I know SPG Gold benefits are basically non-existent but is it worth calling SPG to make sure my upcoming reservations have my status listed correctly?

I dropped off an application at the Westin in Mount Laurel yesterday. When researching the job, I didn't know if the job listing was legit because I saw it on Craigslist and not on :-:Wood.com. I hadn't been in that neighborhood in a while, and while the Westin is a franchise property, I guess :-:Wood sees money in that area that they left on the table by franchising that Westin because there's a nice shiny new aloft right across the street about to open. For the NJ people, I'm talking about the complex of hotels right off the interchange of I-295 and Route 73.

I guess I missed it in the flurry of Boxage, but weren't you working in sales for a video production firm or something?

For us, mileage earning opportunities are always restricted in the last quarter (after most desired status levels have been achieved) by the need to burn miles before they become less valuable per announcements made in the coming new year.

That Westin gets a lot of tourist traffic for Philly so it will have a differenct clientel than the Aloft. Many companies now use Craigslist for job postings as it's free in many cases.

I was. As it turns out, I'm not that great at outside sales.

Very true. I'm pursuing the teaching thing because the study and practice of history is the first true love, but doing the hotel thing became addictive real quick and is a close second.
