depends on the size, you don't want a 600lb beast....and should someone chose to shoot the sucker you better have a lot of rounds, they can take a lot of shots even to the spine and keep moving.

I've seen some that look like the size of cows up north of Abilene(from a distance) I am not much a shoot and let lay person, but they are allowed to shoot and let the feral hogs lay in most places. I have seen 100's of them together before. and they are VERY destructive.

I'll have to add that to the list of exotic meats I should attempt to eat.

Whatever it is, the dogs are all sayings it's a threat again. This time, 100M candlepower halogen and a rifle are going along. Maybe we'll find out about the quality of that pork...

I don't know what precisely is the difference about wild boar but the taste is remarkable. I usually go to F Scott's once per quarter but went many times that quarter.

I'm not sure about exotic* but really good. If I knew what they ate, I might start a farm-raised "wild" boar program.

I'm not certain about seeking the wild boar out - if the wild boar just happens to be available ...

corn, wheat, early growth of said crops. along with most any other $ crop or feedstock crop.

to start a farm of such you'd need to dig up your yard and make it concrete so they wont' get out and destroy your world.
