I think you are right. Right now I am ship 424, which is decidedly not the retrojet. However, it is one of the LiveTV equipped ships so I hope it sticks.

Indeed common sense is an uncommon virtue.

I can contribute no useful ones. Last time I was on AA was November 16, 1996.

I have to defend this rule. Last year I lost my passport and turned my house upside down looking for it. I then said, oh well it is lost and I just need to get a new one. Had I not, I would not have been able to take part in the YYC and be harrased by CIS. Passport now ready for the next great fare mistake!

I'm hoping to maybe go to the PRG miniDO with Ms. GadFly. That'll be a nice first stamp in the book (unless I go to Munich first for work)

hehe, the Mileathon made it onto Hot Deals at Slickdeals. Here is one of the comments from a poster:

So basically, spend $100,000 for 100,000 miles. This is analagous to a debate I had once over the total cost of ownership of a girlfriend/wife over the cost of hiring hookers for life. Either way, you're out alot of money while getting screwed.

Ditto, the last time I was on AA I was denied boarding, and had to rent a car at my own expense.

I would assume, though, that the HP company store (sic; see the URL) is targeting US employees, which makes this description a bit more defensible.

I can, however, think of no context in which "attractive but cute" makes sense.

If the primary target is employees, why is the link available on a dropdown from the front page of the public website? (CO is immune from this argument; their store IMO does not largely favor employees over pax.)

I would buy the :-:A polo from the US company store if it didn't have the US logo on the sleeve. I'm always on the hunt for golf shirts that no one else in my circle of golfers would possibly wear.

Agree totally on "attractive but cute". That's just stupid but dumb to put there. :D

no idea why it would, it is decent for someone already using CO but not a hot deal by any means.

The $1 coin turnover is making its way on to other "hot deals" sites. Little slow to the game aren't they....
