Is that a Plat benefit at those properties? I wasn't offered any comp breakfast at the St. Regis SIN (but I'm only Corp Preferred).
The LM BKK offers free breakfast, free Internet and a Creative 2 Hours at the bar (Basically open bar from the cocktail menu) |

We ate Bibimbap for breakfast most mornings at the little restaurants down by the first subway stop on the hotel shuttle. $3 apiece, IIRC. :D
Did you visit the spa at the W? We both got owned by Korean masseuses on our first night in Seoul - I was in pain for a few days after that one. Fortunately, the spa at the LM Khao Lak made up for it! |

This day is just  and  for me. Started with cleaning the tub I don't use as I have guest in just under two weeks. Well a tile feel in. I should have know it would be a real big  when I saw duct tape behind the tile. Now I'm slowly trying to get the bad stuff out but I can't get the crappy shower/tub valve off the wall. Stupid weird Moen thing as an intergral tub spout w/ a soap holder on top of it that all one unit instead of the standard seperate plate and spout. I can't figure out how to get the stupid thing off so I can at least replace tile and stuff much less replace the whole valve so that it's a normal looking one.
I recently had a similar  experience with a shower valve that was installed incorrectly by :eek:ur contractor two years ago. After it all fell apart I figured out the proper way to put it back together. The addition of a little lock-tite means I won't have to fix it again for a long time :p |

^ We definitely had our share of bibimbap as well! We had to catch the KAL bus back to ICN at 10am on this particular morning, so we decided to take it easy and just have breakfast at the hotel.

I am sitting next to guy who I am almost 100% sure has swine flu.
About the PDX flights, I had to refund my ticket last night because of am implementation that has to be carried out that weekend to minimize downtime. I'm a little ticked about it because the communication for the project has been atrocious. |
Can the DL Plat SWUs be used on flights operated by NW? I guess in a few months it won't matter, but I'm curious... Everyone says these things are basically useless but I am determined to get some sort of value out of them!

I just realized that I earned 4k flex EQM last month :p

Not as a "full" carrier, maybe a regional affiliate. There is no way they could get away with B6 entering into the alliance full bore with the amount of the NYC market that CO/B6 would control.
I don't think B6 will truly enter though, the airlines operate on vastly different models. Do we know who initiated this? B6 or LH? I imagine B6 has a lot more to gain than LH with this code sharing.

Last month, I sent out a communication to our organization reminding everyone that it's specifically a violation of state law to possess a weapon in any of our state-owned facilities. Today, I get a request asking if I would approve someone bringing functional long arms and cannons to our facility  ...

While they may not be able to bring it to your facility, surely the opportunity to play with cannons cannot be overlooked.

I need to become a Starwood Plat. Had I been able to structure my stays differently this year, I would only be about five stays short of Plat. But, most of my stays this year have been at Marriotts.
Also, if most of your qualifying stays fall on weekends, when all teh biz travelers are home, you will find upgrade rates to be :D |

No. I only used the Korean Baths at the W. Teh  used the Spa. I thoroughly enjoyed my Spa treatments at the LM Khao Lak. I damn near fell asleep during my beach massage sessions.
We didn't do the beach massages at the LM KL but visited Le Spa a few times. The warm stone therapy was one of the best spa treatments I have ever received. With 50% off all treatments as part of our villa package, it was hard to stay away from the place! |

NW Plat SWU's can be used to upgrade DL flights (just used some recently to upgrade DL flights), so I assume that DL SWU's can be used to upgrade NW flights. I would check with someone who knows more about DL than I do, however, to be sure.
