As for Sprint, I honestly think you're the first person I've heard say they were a fan of them. Seems like my friends and family that have them mostly just b!tch and moan about them nonstop.

I've been a non-stop sprint customer since about 1996 and I love 'em. My plan includes unlimited everything (voice, roaming, data, text, e-mail, gps, picture-mail, etc.) for $99 a month. Also, the phone I'm using (Samsung ACE) is a world phone so once I start getting some stamps in my passport, I'll be able to use it anywhere.

I'm actually thinking about upgrading my equipment to the new HTC Touch Pro 2 but Sprint really needs to drop the price first.

Really a waste of the UG cert but they all expire on 12/31/09 so I needed to use it.

Back when I was US Gold, they sent me a few transatlantic UG certificates every year. Since most of my flights were on Dash 8's and other assorted pr:rolleyes:ps, I never got to use them. I remember cashing one in for CLT-EWR on an old 737. Total waste.

I'm sure it was in here, considering I've not posted much in any thread today.

Congrats!!!!

baglady I'm truly sad to hear the sad news from last night.

Thank you so much. My dad is so devistated. I knew it would be hard on him, but didn't know it would hit him this hard. He and I spent the afternoon together and I put on groundhog day (which in hindsight maybe wasn't the best movie to put on for someone who has alzheimers, but he really loved it) and we had a lot of laughs. My aunt is surprisingly, holding up quite well under the circumstances. I appreciate all of you in the box in your outpouring of support. It genuinely means so much to me.

I just looked at my RewardOne statement. How does one actually earn points in the category, "Travel to/from all other cities served by Continental?" Other than flights to/from Guam and the weekly LGA-AUA flight, what qualifies in this category?

Booking a connecting flight (e.g. AUS-LGA) would qualify.

Correct.

If you are connecting through one of the hubs but your end points are not hubs then it shows up in that section.

I seem to recall pretty colored labels on the bottles that warned against that, but if fun = pain free sleep: ^

Good morning, Box.

Try waking up before dawn to get on a shuttle bus to ATL ... If I were going to the office, there would be more terminal leave for me to cash out.

And I have to make up for the M&Ms and Cheetos I let her eat. Chicken and beef are two I am really big on which my mom laughs about because I don't eat. When I bring hamburger home, the nanny says she doesn't know how to do hamburger patties. She's a farmer's daughter. A cow farmers' daughter. How the He!! does she not know how to make hamburger patties? I asked her if she makes them into balls first. She didn't know. I can't stand touching meat, but I also can't stand the package of meat sitting in the refrigerator either so it's the lessor of two evils sometimes.

Vicodin+Darvocet+Wine can be fun

Sorry for your family's loss. My thoughts are with yall during this time.

on the meat thing, have you tried wearing plastic gloves? That is what I did with my vegetarian students in lab classes of mine.

Don't Remind me the horror of those days, I have five of them coming in two weeks. I don't mind getting up like that to fly but for work ! go figure right?

Until you've eaten tomatoes in Turkey you know nothing of the species. They were different in ways that I cannot truly express, other than to say that they were infinitely better than anything I've ever had.

Speaking of mobile phones, here's to VZW SIM cards that are *supposed* to be internationally activated, but according to Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone, are not. :)

I had that in the Philippines when I was there a couple weeks back. I got on Skype to Global Support and they fixed it.

Nice helpful thought early in the morning - I wouldn't have considered that.

Off to the cable company to replace my DVR. The clacking sound and total failure to record anything lately probably isn't a good sign. On the plus side, I get to switch to an HD box in advance af my new toy arriving sext week some time. :D

Good morning, Box.

I was in school with a woman who was a vegetarian and really couldn't stand being near meat. She was married to a guy who lived on steak! Whenever I was over there for dinner, she would be handling his steaks wearing big thick yellow rubber gloves (the kind you wear to do the dishes). It was a very funny sight, especially the faces she made as she gingerly picked up the meat.

I'm going to play hardball with the cable company (Charter) when I finally get home today. Ask them how low they can make my internet / TV package or I go internet only with the electric company.

Sounds close - Plus1 doesn't eat seafood, IIRC.
