It's not quite noon here on the left coast, and since I arrived at the client three hours ago, she has tried to set up FIVE separate meetings with me, on different topics, for the next month — all of which she's stuck on Mondays or Fridays when I'm on a flight. My flights are loaded into my calendar. It's pretty obvious when I'm free and when I'm not, if she was just check my calendar first.

And don't get me started on the fact that she wants this many conference calls about this crap.

It would be very appropriate for you to do this. Sounds like people I w:rolleyes:rk with.

Anyway we have a huge pile of luggage in the garage and only the stuff on top of the pile gets used with any degree of regularity. But, sometimes I need a bag of a certain size and have to dig deep for a bag that has not flown for a good long time.

Those bags tend to have most interesting tags.

I was going to post this to congratulate sfogate on her newly obtained BS degree, but now I'm picturing it as the baglady/Plus1 garage.

Hyatt gave me a free night at a Hyatt Place in my diamond profile online. And I was just about to use a fee waiver to change a flight to avoid paying for a Hyatt Place stay ... Hyatt is back on my good list.

Gotta love it.

And you'll earn a chunk of one of those E-500s back flying that many miles, too.

Yes, I prefer the Ren over the FS Marriott at LAX. Nicer rooms and nicer Conceirge Lounge. Parking is easier at the Renaissance LAX.

That said - the FS Marriott is larger, more services, more Marriott. The Renaissiance used to be a different hotel chain. The Renaissance adjoins a marginal residential neighborhood, hence more security in the parking garage etc. The clientele seem a little more upscale at the FS Marriott versus the Renaissance - but just my perception.

Thanks - since I'm not parking (turning in car before I check in at hotel), that's not an issue. I'd rather have a nicer room and lounge, so it sounds like I made the right choice.

Windows 3.11? I was thinking it was a DOS terminal.

Seriously, a good portion of a certain AAirline's ops are still run on AT&T PCs. Remember when ATT used to make PCs?

We had some AT&T PCs in a computer lab when I was in college. I believe they were the first Pentiums that the college bought for a student lab.

Sometimes I impress myself: at 1245 cental I got a call from our sales guy requesting me at a site in YUL tomorrow morning due to issues. Between 1245 and 320 I managed to do the following: book my IAH-EWR-BTV-(2 days)-EWR-MDT-(2days)-EWR-IAH, go home, pack for the business trip & personal weekend, cut my front lawn, stop at 2 banks to drop off 5k in coins, drive ~40 mins to IAH, and see Charlie for 4 Caipirhinas before boarding #210! The only downside is that IAH-EWR is full in F before I got a seat. But #3099 to BTV is oversold, so maybe I'll get a bump! I still don't know where I'll sleep tonight, but I'm sure I can find somewhere along the way since the Garden Inn in YUL and the Hampton in BTV are booked.

And they used the "interested" list as a list of those "planning" to go. I just thought that since those that are not going are likely no longer following the mega do thread might want to go to your "Send box" and reforward your email to remind them that you had cancelled way in advanced. I posted this in the privacy of the box.

Thanks for posting that for those of us who stopped following that thread. They have since changed the title of the list.

Good luck. I can't tell what to think of my interview today. Next round if I make it is in 3 weeks. Might be a fishing trip which didn't make the recruiter too happy when I told him.
