I had some Sennheiser PXC250s that were nice enough (not too huge/uncomfortable), but when I lost them I went looking at other options. It turns out that earplugs are just way more efficient than electronics at cutting the sound levels that hit the ear.

I’m so lazy, I never got around to installing a cupholder on the riding mower this year.

I wish I could get a replacement part for my Sony buds so I could use them again. :(

I have Shures too but I can't wear them for longhauls. Generally 4 hours or less is OK. Anything more I have to go with the Bose.

Not quite there yet, I don't think. :(

I was much the opposite. I'd rather the ear plugs than the sweaty ears.

Still not there...

I've found that while electronics are great at blocking constant background noise like engine and air noise, they don't do much for voices. Ear buds block everything.

Agree fully, as long as you put the right size in ear padding, it is more comfortable. Mine came with 3 sized pieces, medium is perfect for me :) large was totally uncomfortable, and small fell out...

I was involved in enough lawn mowing as a kid that it is one activity I hope to never, ever have to do again in my life. We had a steep hill in our backyard, a yard that was just shy of one acre in size, and a push mower. Today I'm quite happy to live in a place with no yard. And if I ever do live in a place with a yard again, I'm all for hiring a landscape architect to design and install something that requires a minimum of maintenance and no mower. If a mower is required, then I'll hire someone to do it.

I can wear them forever, but I have to use the headphones regularly. If I stop using them for a few weeks, then it gets uncomfortable for the first few times after starting to use them again.
