Assuming that your lawn is in Houston, you are lucky that (i) your grass was dry enough to cut; and (ii) the temperature was relatively cool today.

Still, impressive nevertheless.

And my day just gets more fun.

Someone please explain to me why a small, private college with very little money would want to knowingly turn down federal work study funds because of some absurd fear of being too involved with the federal government?

I'm guessing that the college in question has some religious affiliation?

I have not used that exact model, but I did a side-by-side comparison of Panasonic, Bose, and Sony when deciding to buy, and ended up picking Panasonic. I have been very happy with them.

I've done the same, and found that Bose = same quality at four times the price. And in the case of in-ear buds, I've found the Bose to actually be far less impressive in sound quality than the competition.

Yep. Same ones that don't want me to drink when I'm on business for them. Broke that rule last night, will do the same again tonight, and probably again tomorrow.

I also considered models from Panasonic and Sony at the time I bought my QC2s and while their level of cancellation was comparable, I preferred the sound quality of the Bose. I've been extremely pleased with the QC2s and would only trade them in if the QC15s were significantly better.

I'm so much happier with my Shure buds than I was with my on-ear NC headphones it isn't even funny. The difference in the level of sound that is blocked is amazing.

I used Shure for my headphone and microphone needs

+ 1(-1 x -1) and require much less space

Same here. They also take up a lot less space in my bag, and I find them easier to sleep in than the on-ear noise canceling headphones.

No batteries, either, so no fighting with the FA as to whether they are OK to wear at takeoff/landing. Of course, the Porter Air FA insisted that ear plugs weren't allowed during those times - for my safety - but she was cute enough that I just  and moved on.
