I figure unless CO elites get E+ I'm going to need to keep UA status. For me, unless I can hit 1K next year, I will be sticking to CO. :D |
Holy poop, Batman - have not been in Teh Box since 11am, so apologies in advance.

I flew them earlier this year YYC-YYZ-DFW, and their new Y Seats, AVOD, and in-seat A/C Power are ^^^. It was by far the most comfortable Y seat I have sat in. Doing Y TATL sucks enough. I might as well get one of the best seats possible. Their lounges also generally have a very good Soup/Salad Bar.

Been a long time... I've been out of the travel gig for a while. Flew to SFO this past weekend. Man I had forgotten what coach was like in a non-exit row! Flew up on ship 422. Very nice and new, but the video system was completely inop.

While I'm all for English being the universal language, it doesn't mean we should be stifling the others.

I've found that while electronics are great at blocking constant background noise like engine and air noise, they don't do much for voices. Ear buds block everything.

I had to tell my dad which was very rough. Homocide has not been ruled out. It's been a very sad night. :(

I'd like to try AC. AI read your impressions of their Y product and that made me sufficiently curious. They also have big E-Jets, and I lost my E-Jet ride for my MSP trip. I beat the dead horse in that thread just to make myself feel better. I even used "Pandy" in my response. Agree completely. Not cool; poor word choice. Mark Twain said that the difference between the right word and the almost-right word is like the difference between lightning and lightning bug. PWP Chief of Les Clefs d' reporting for duty, Comrade General ALCO. And who are you again? ;) Or your weekend golf plans. :) Funny and true. I can't bring a substantive comment to the table on this, but I'll just say again that I hate JFK. That is really stupid. I'm all about supporting the speaking of English in places where other languages should not be expected, but this is really a global community, and I would think that there are non-US posters who have used FT to improve their English. That's a great story. Sad to admit that I owned a Packard Bell. Back when 1GB was a roomy hard drive. No. I solved that puzzle eventually. I was determined to out of nothing more than spite because she teased me unmerciful, she teased me very badly...and my hairpiece fell off. (Gratuitous 80's prank call reference.) Did you consciously drop the 2nd SNL reference? :) You're a nice person. The UA board is not for you. I have a great place for you to use it, ssullivan. In response to email reminder girl. @:-) I use my Shure buds as earplugs...sometimes I won't even have them plugged into anything. I've had rubber slickness and earwax issues. Annoying but by no means a dealbreaker. The story is sad and priceless at the same time. It's been posted in here. I threw my $.02 in on this earlier in this entirely too long post. Excellent idea. I'm very sorry to hear. :( Jimmy likes his new shoes. I booked US and credited to CO today. ^^ First time I ever credited to a partner because I fly CO so much. Phew. Done. |
Well, the wall of shame earned its name in The Penalty Box, again, it was never intended to be more than a reminder. I don't think we should beat the dead horse anymore, but correcting that list should be done. |

I RBP his post saying a poster should be thankful he did not RBP on the OPs thread where he called himself a 'dumbass' and he was wanting to report it for profanity.:rolleyes: |

The orginal post was at one time was titled "The Wall of Shame." It has since been edited to a better choice of words. You have been incorrectly saying someone else has been calling it that when in fact he simply did a public service by alerting us to the situation.
