Very nice - new FM lines are always a good thing!

A quick count shows that I picked up ~28 new lines this year. Most flights out of ABE, the MSP-GEG runs and our honeymoon all helped out big time. First time I crossed 100k BIS miles as well.

I liked it when my car was new and had low miles. I didn't need any work done to it as parts weren't worn out. Monday will be semi-expensive replacing the ball joints. At least the new airbag is free.

I need the upper joints and control arms replaced on my truck. There's $500 I didn't want to spend.

+1, and all of them were on paid tickets . Next year is a big mileage burning year as I have already burned 250k.

Holy husky morning voice from my (female) FA. She sounds like she's either been smoking stogies in the galley or huffs jet exhaust.

Someone won Carrie Underwood tickets from the local radio station this morning. I thought it was a really excited gentleman until I heard the name "Lori".

I barely sucked down one cup this morning. I'm amazed that I am as personable as I am today.

Come on UA, what happened to the good F breakfast you used to serve on IAH-DEN? This is a step below some of the stuff I've had in Y.

Is that not just pathetic looking? Turns out there was a piece of very bland ham under that egg thing, too.

Other option was yogurt and fruit with cheese and crackers — basically the same thing as the deli plate at breakfast in Y on the new Choices BOB menu.

Could Amex/ANA please post my MR points already.

I'm about to buy 2 tickets on Orbitz that have UA flights on the outbound and CO flights on the return. We'll get full EQMs for all flights - this just feels weird...

Is it under the fare guarantee? I believe booking through either Orbitz or UA's website would result in cash back through UPromise.

That looks worse than what they serve in school cafeterias.

Is there no CO agent there? At the ORD RCC, there was a CO agent that was giving out T-Mobile codes at request.

I think that particular RCC is the only one with a CO agent, and that's only because that agent used to be in the joint NW/CO (which really more of a NW WC) club at ORD.

PM me if you want details on how to get logged on to the RCC Internet without an access card…

Single ply in the RCC.

Depending on the airport, the PC isn't much better in that department.

But I bet no RCC has the urinal that's five feet off the floor that one of the IAH C PCs has. :D

For those with auto repairs needed - I joined AutoZone's ZNet because my car is one that has the repair manuals / diagrams posted. I always look at the repair process for a specific problem before deciding if it's worth my time and within my capability to undertake the repair myself.

When my car was totaled, I was fortunate to realize from the manuals I could take the front end off a 1997 in the junkyard and put it on my 1998 - took about a day's worth of effort to restore my vehicle to meeting NHTSA standards. Better to end up in a situation with a well rebuilt vehicle and a few extra grand in pocket than going out and buying a replacement vehicle ...

That's a good idea, but I lack facilities with which to perform car repairs. I grew up changing my own oil and fluids and doing basic maintenance but living in an apartment does not afford one the space to perform such things. Hopefully I can rectify that next year.
