Hrm, anyone know how to grab 7000 EQM on the cheap from IAH, AUS, SAT, or DFW in confirmed F? I appear to be 6920 EQM short of getting Silver for 2010.

Does it have to be F?

AUS-IAH-DFW-IAH-CRP-IAH-BTR-IAH-AUS. 500mi each segment, plus DEQMs, will give you 8000.

The prices to and from AUS have been extremely high lately because of the holiday season. Not sure if any of the other options will be cheaper.

Yeah, I don't fit in Y (6'8"). If it was all ERJ and I could select 12A (or 12B/C) at booking I'd be all over it but I am not elite, much less gold or plat.

This is what I'm noticing. I also just realized that the DEQM would apply to UA only so I'd have UA 1P and not CO Silver. Oh well, I'll go another year without status. :rolleyes:;)

Why wouldn't DEQM apply to CO? They're running the DEQM till Dec. 15.

The flights I will be earning EQM on in November are all UA, and DEQM is specific to carrier metal.

Yeah, sorry about that, I probably wasn't clear. I got all excited before reality set in. :rolleyes: Oh well, I'm still plat with Marriott through 2011 and how that I have a job I may be able to fly slightly more often than I have this year.

I suppose the upside is that I can credit my RDM to CO for my UA flights and get back over 50,000 RDMs so that I can make it to one of the Box/NYC Dos.

MegaDo and bonus RDM's are being sat on for some future use...either build toward RTW or something in Asia, not sure yet.
