I listen to their 5:30pm news briefing and they are still working on the repair. They also want to test the repair in wind and under stress. I sure hope they plan on using fans because the high winds have departed.

Is this failure something you study or the type of engineering you do?

Definitely not either of those reasons. I wanted something with my photo so it's clear which bag is mine (even though it's almost always in the overhead).

I've found that the only time such things are usually missed is from being incommunicado (due to being at 30,000 ft in the middle of another Q↓).

I can't argue with being 75 miles short of Gold and having the US flights booked that will put me over the top as of 12/21.
