IIRC, reports on that Westin are not too good though. For one night, it may have to do.

The Sheraton at the airport is a better option and you can often find it for $89/night.

Check with Comcast, they've had a $19.99/month for a year promo going on for a while. You don't need to have cable or phone service. As much as I despise cable companies, I set that up for my parents... the cheap ....... in me couldn't argue with the price.

The issue with those is that all the carriers have placed ridiculously low bandwidth caps on them. Until they go back to unlimited, they just aren't worth it.

One of the reasons I wont give up my Old ATT Unlimited plan.

So I tought I would check in the MR thread about connecting flights to IAD-SFO runs. Saw the DEN-IAD runs and picked up one at around 4 cents a mile, not the best but good. UGH. This stuff is addictive!!

I seem to remember reading something about it.

Congrats! I got it for that very flight (but NOT the return) last weekend. The snow should have stopped falling just in time for you.

Thanks! Pretty cool as this is my first flight as SE (actually will have really earned status by noon on Sat.!)!:-: I'm really hoping that the weather is OK -- am driving from DEN to COS when I arrive. Can't believe that I have to bring winter clothes, already!

You could probably double your salary with that alone :D

On SFO-EWR flights where there's one seat available for a EUA at the gate, and the other 15-19 were sold weeks in advance, she could probably quadruple her salary with the tips for upgrade scheme.

Yeah, although if you're arriving late and departing early and need something close to the airport, how bad can it really be? I tend to have a much lower expectation for a hotel in that situation than a place I'm going to be calling home for three nights.

We have recently moved to a slightly bigger place (due to the upcoming arrival of Ms. Enmascarado Jr.), but finally out of campus. When living on campus, we had blazing fast internet access for free, but now it is time to grow up, and get my own home internet access. And there is where I would like your help...

I need to get internet access at home soon, to play in the box more often! I miss you guys!

When I had Comcast I had nothing but problems. They were absolutely awful. My partner had a similar experience.

We have AT&T DSL at home on the fastest speed we can get, and it's fine, but nothing amazing. I've found it to be super reliable, but not nearly as fast as what Comcast theoretically offers via cable. The problem is that while I'd love more speed, I don't have the patience for a fast connection that requires a service call once a month. I'd jump all over Fios or U-Verse if either was available in our neighborhood, but unfortunately neither is.

Very glad to be here, instead of where I was earlier. You see, I had chest pains this morning and ended up going to get checked out at the hospital.

OMG! Glad to hear you're OK.
