someone told me the secret to drink tequila if ever required for some reason, suck on a lemon for a long time and salt right with the drink, you won't taste much as you temp killed the tastebuds. That stuff is terrible.

Only people who wear frilly skirts drink tequila that way.
:td:

Did you go to the show at Music Hall? That was my first rock concert. I think I was 15, because we had to get a ride from someone's mother.

Yes, and the Coliseum.

it can however make a mean fajita marinade!

This is moderately intriguing to the person who sauteed onions with gin a few weeks ago.

:D i am talking about a product that they make before they are allowed to throw it away. All international flights the USDA requires them to cook in a high temp steamer for many hours at something over 300 degrees(maybe Olton remembers?) to kill any organisms that could have come in international flights.

that is fine, i don't intend to drink it. I have tried it 3 times in various ages, none of it is any good at all for drinking.

I love Spam Musubi. It's easy to make but the secret isn't hard. You have to simmer the spam in the sauce:

soy sauce (I use Aloha brand and that's the main one they use in Hawaii)
water, half and half with the soy sauce
rice vinegar, a few shakes of the bottle
sugar, about 1 tablespoon

I don't add vinegar to my rice but I do use a medium grain rice.

Sweet. I will try this.

The problem that I had was my rice didn't stick like normal sushi rice, although I read that vinegar wasn't necessary. Any rice recs? I also used the spam can to do the cutting, although I've seen fancy ones in stores.

Ahhh the number of concerts I have seen during my life is simply amazing. And I hope the trend continues for a long long time. Mentions include:

Dizzy Gillespie
The Dead
Pink Floyd
DKs
John Denver (on the slopes of Snowmass, my first show)
The Marsalis Family
CSN & Y
Buddy Guy
Run DMC
U2 (Unforgettable Fire tour)
NIN (small club in the hublette)
lord I could go on and on

Favs include:

REM (15 times, including once sidestage at my alma mater)
Replacements
Elvis Costello
Sting
Peter Gabriel
Winton Marsalis
STP
Foo Fighters
Lalapalooza 1 & 2

Hmm, I'll try
The Carpenters
John Denver

The Thompson Twins
Echo and The Bunnymen
The Producers
REM (more than once)
White Animals (if you missed them, they were amazing, and I saw them more than once)
Too many 80s bands that I don't remember
The Cure
Gloria Estefan (it was free but admit I saw her twice)
Kenny Loggins (he was surprisingly great and I've seen him recently)
Beach Boys
Hall and Oats (this decade, sadly, but it was free)
Alicia Keys
More that I'm not recalling

Does it count that I sat next to a Kenny G band guy but didn't ask for a concert (I believe the band and I made up the F section)?

Please add Winton Marsallis and at least 2 other jazz groups, as well as Manheim Steamroller

The requirement is for steam cooking or incinerations.

It is something that they played 3,000 seat theaters and arenas on the same tour. The Waterboys (whom I had never heard of) opened, and it took me about six or seven years to appreciate them.
