It was a generic Hormel coupon - got some spam and corned beef hash for pennies.

Bet that is different these days....

I'd buy some chili, at least I could eat it in a pinch.

I interned with Boeing (then McDonnell Douglas) in the military group in STL back when I was an undergrad. My dad's been there for 25+ years in various software-related roles. It's a tough business to be in at the moment.

I did get to do a carrier landing in the F/A-18C simulator when I was there. Nailed it. ^

My dad managed to shoot down a graduate of Top Gun in the sim once (he does programming work for simulator systems - he was even given a call sign by the guy in honor of the feat). :-:

Just a matter of setting your priorities correctly. I may not get it every day but I get a fair amount. :p

One of my buddies when we were in college thought it was "Even Though" and not "Even Flow", so we would go around singing "Even though I don't know the words":D

I don't think I've ever had it. I think it beats out Chicken McNuggets for manufactured food.

I did security for JayZ back in the day when he had gang threats. My big rear was onstage, backupped by his security dude. He was by far the largest man I have ever met - about 6-6, 300 and obviously packing under his full length leather coat and body armor.

Interesting show to say the least - I actually kicked some dude in the forehead after the 10th warning to stop trying to climb on stage. I figured it was either that or the bodyguard breaking some bones if he came within 10 feet of the talent.

Now 311 was a lot more fun, though I worked my rear off helping people out of the pit.

Some things are best left untried.

I'd keep the crockpot in the fridge and only heat what I was going to eat. You really shouldn't be heating/reheating it every day IMHO.
