Scary that girls are plotting at such an early age. Boys at that age are blissfully unaware of such things. Far more important is what Transformer one can acquire next, whether someone has cooties, and figuring out where to hide during recess so you don't have to go back to class.

Once we become men, we mature substantially. By then, our priorities include: What premium cabin should I sample next? Did she have the herps? And... What the hell happened to recess

If puberty were a drug, rather than a naturally occurring phenomenon, I'm pretty sure it would carry a 2-20 year sentence just for possession. It's the only known phenomenon powerful enough to overcome "girls are icky." :-:

many "drugs" are naturally occurring as well...or even naturally stimulated within the body.

Chacun à son goût, I guess. I wouldn't think that, if all he were after was beautiful women, he would leave home. Seems to me that there was more interest in notches on the bedpost, so to speak.

Men are very simple creatures. We only really need food, beer, and lovin'.

Such wisdom from one so young. I would point this out to my wife but the result would be  the likes of which have rarely been seen before in Southeastern PA.

I've always wondered, once Virtual Reality type technology is perfected, whether legislators will attempt to criminalize VR-induced states of mind. If a person could simply plug in a CD into a machine that simulated the effects of an erstwhile illegal substance in the brain, without any harmful effects on the body, and without any threat arising from the person's use of the "drug," would it still be illegal?

Just think of the possibilities. Playing Madden 2032, Giants All-Time Greats Mode... log in as LT, feel the coke-rage build, snap a Quarterback's spine. :-:

There's a Star Trek TNG episode about that.

I know people that do this already with everquest and WoW, they are so totally addicted it is worse than many banned drugs.

Addiction is a mental state, not an outside chemical induced state. I could get really deep with this if we want to go there :D

I'm not sure we'll make it to the AUS DO. I had planned on it knowing that it is both mine and the better half's birthday weekend, but I feel like I should do something more for her.

We may be in AUS and will try to grab BBQ with everyone (especially if folks want to check out the place that runs out of food by 1)
