Possibly. It was my one and only trip to the hometown of UGA. I was extremely drunk. I have vague memories of hanging out the back window of a friend's car at 3am and hurling as he drove us back to Atlanta.

I didnt miss many tours during the 80s and 90s, back when you could afford a concert ticket without dealing meth.

I didn't miss any concerts that passed thru Honolulu in the 70's. I had a good friend that got free concert tickets to every show. ^

I saw Elton John so many times that I refuse to listen to his music anymore. I will say that he puts on a great concert but after about the 5th time seeing him, I said no more.

I saw America (Horse with No Name/Sister Golden Hair) when their idea of a show was to sit on two folding chairs and just play music. It was great.

Devo was alot of fun.

I'm sure most of you were still in diapers while I was going to concerts. :D

SPAM isn't that bad.

SPAM = ok with me. I just don't go for the Lite stuff. Thanks for your recipes and hints!!

You have to use sushi style rice. You can tell them since they have sushi recipes on the back. Most stores should carry it. I get Nishiki Premium Grade Rice. There are others that are a bit better but they come in bags that are too big. You do need to rinse the stuff first in cold water or it will be a bit too sticky.

I just use Safeway's brand of medium grain rice. The bag says "Enriched Calrose Rice". This rice isn't that sticky but it's not loose like long grain rice.

Again - thanks for the hints!

As a long time REM fan, it was almost a surreal experience when I visited.

I've seen America - for some reason, Maryland concert promoters thought that America should always perform on the 4th of July.

Also saw George Clinton and the Barenaked Ladies (not the same concert, obviously).

I grew up in MKE. Femmes were a standard. Wish I could say the same thing today.

IIRC, the last time I tried to count I was close to 100 different acts that I have seen in my lifetime.

Glad to hear it's feeling better!^

I thought you had 'decorated' said boot -- I think you need to hang those 'mini disco balls' from it -- so the light will be reflected at those Christmas parties!:D;) (also good way for foot not to be accidentally knocked into!)

Mackieman - this will make me seem old - but we saw Stevie Ray Vaughn for free in multiple concerts before he died. It is strange to live in the city he did while before I lived in the state he died. He was a great performer.

3 Doors Down

Here's a post that's the entirety of my experience with 3 Doors Down. I had to work so hard to not double over laughing on the last flight of a mileage run.

Color me envious. I've got several DVDs of his live performances with Double Trouble, including Live at the Montreux Jazz Festival and of course his Austin City Limits performance. I have almost as many of his live shows as I do DVDs of Dave Matthews Band.

I want to see Cake live at some point, and I'd like to see Doug Stanhope do his stand-up routine before he inevitably O-Ds. That's pretty much it on my must-see list at the moment.
