Oo, you're right about that cup of water in MSP...

Florida is still warm right? I was packing shorts for this weekend. Now i gotta check weather channel.

I'm just excited for low-50s in LAS on Saturday...I should pack shorts for that.

If South Florida, then yes (during the day). Enjoy!

Aren't there points or miles to be had on the company dime, not to mention not having to launder your own towels?

A stay would have been pointless (so to speak). Event at boutique hotel with no affiliation.

Lows for the weekend in TPA are 60's. Yay. Looks like it's gonna be lovely.

Hmm, not even a nifty shoe-shine kit to use as a stocking stuffer?

Wunderground currently shows it as 1.5 degrees in my zip code. I might need to have another drink after I finish this one to stay warm.

I frankly only didn't anticipate the volume of liquor that could have been consumed. Fortunately, I have addressed issue here at home and will blend in tomorrow.

Heh, i'm leaving SoCal at 55 and going to Florida at 60. FL gets up to 70 during the day while SoCal only inches toward 60.

I'm a tiny bit weather spoiled.

As I was telling WBurcham on IM tonight...you made a wise recommendation.

Even at a local off-site, I always justified the food and beverage provided as something that didn't come directly from my budget.

Hooray first class. So, returning Tuesday and with bonus miles I should clear Gold after tomorrow's flight. Ought I call and ask to be bumped up earlier or just let it play out and see?

You don't have to fly to post here.

:-:

Call the OPSC (not elite desk) for the bump before the flight.

I'll be in SoCal Saturday night (staying in BUR).

Then again, it doesn't take much to beat MSP weather. It's 16 degrees warmer in ANC right now than it is here.

I am actually in a separate cost center from the folks who were staying at the offsite. My boss in NY probably would have noticed the $300 hotel stay 5 miles from home.
