It is SRO at the FLL PC this afternoon. Loud and crowded. There are literally 3 empty seats scattered around and several standing at the bar.[/QUOTE

Gracias

You mean it might be more peaceful and less crowded out at the gate?

FLL PC - the redesigned closet that they shoehorned a bar into?

SJC is definitely lacking in amenities. The free wifi is nice at least.

The CLE PC Wifi is running decent today too, fortunately.

Wish I could say the same for FT.

Yeah I can't complain about the WiFi - nice way to kill the time. And I found a quiet spot to sit as well (only after the loud business man sat right next to me and did his loud talking thing....).

Good luck with your flight! Hope you make it out of town in a timely manner.

Didn't get the WN VDB so I'm about to deplane and find some food in RDU. PHL-RDU and RDU-BNA are both new to me.

Sigh, that's got to be the best soup that Chelsea are serving... just wish I could find it on my routes!

If you are looking for slightly healthy you won't find it at RDU.

I still want to know what the orange soup-like stuff with veggies was on my IAH-PHL flight in F. That stuff was excellent, and I didn't catch the FA's description of it.

Geez! No sooner did I hit send on my last post, no less than three loud talkers surrounded me. I will need to work on the effectiveness of my dirtly looks. :D

Yeah - I'm at A&W and wishing I was on a *A itin (right by lounge).

My mother's flight home appears to be on time, despite the mess at EWR. Last I looked it was due in 16 minutes early.

And we eagerly await a FlightMemory attesting to such. :-:

Was it a true veggie soup, or was it more like a red chile/corn chowder? That chile corn stuff is the bomb!!

I'll go with Option B. It wasn't spicy, but there was corn.

I really enjoyed it. A bit oily/greasy, but the bread soaked it up nicely. I wouldn't mind if they kicked up the heat in it (or put a mini tabasco/cholula on the side) but it was good.

They moved boarding up rather abruptly on my flight so we had to leave the PC rather abruptly. My friend is #1 on the standby list with the cabin booked full. There is one not boarded yet. I'm hopeful. Actually I have 2 friends on the flight. I'm making them fight it out for the companion u/g should it come through. :)

Today's stew will be brought to me thanks to Lourensford Estate 2003 Cabernet.

Thank goodness I have a 6-hour layover in CPT coming up. I'd be beside myself if I couldn't make the 45-minute drive to the winery from the airport for restocking. :D
