And just read an article with a horrendously faulty economic premise - FairTrade coffee should taste better because the farmers are paid a better wage and the harvest is sustainable. This economic argument seems to be missing "Phase 2".

:td: that is a hilarious argument really. I have nothing against fairtrade coffee but affecting the taste is a bit of a stretch in any case.

I had to bring the underpants gnomes in though:

Phase 1: Have sustainable harvest and pay farmers well
Phase 2: ?
Phase 3: Better coffee

I used to have an 0655. My colleague is teaching an 0645 next semester.

I taught a 7:30 am class, at least half the class was spent in the kitchen with eating food as an outcome. Students like that!!

On another note, looks like the perfect FT CO Job is now open: http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...aspx?i=ALLJOBS

I would like to work for an airline for a period of time - it's not unheard of for people in my career to spend summers as interns in new industries.

I cant sleep work called, working on something sooo, this is about the vandals last night?

Postal Inspectors are mean dudes :D
I had an issue with a priority mail one time that was improperly handled by USPS staff, I did not even report it to them but one passing through overhearing situation asked me about it and gave some stern warning to a USPS employee right in front of me.

Of course. I know vandalizing a mailbox and removing someone's outgoing mail from the vandalized mailbox are both technical (rarely prosecuted) violations of federal law.

I think you'll be fine. In the unlikely event you get downgraded, you'll get comped based on the distance of each segment. (Something like 200 for sna-iah and 150 bucks for iah-tpa.)

Safe travels!

Time to go investigate the Condor route map more closely.

Well, the phrase "unlikely event" is moderately reassuring. That it is an "event" and thus possible and known occurrence is always the bit that troubles me.
