Blech. The last zipper failure I had was on my briefcase back in April. I thus went out and splurged on a Tumi.

I'm going to end up traveling with my sub-compact and the 25", which means a checked bag

Off to bed for me as well.

Hmm, most of 09 is a blur to me, but here are the new lines I can think of (BL JR to add to FM)
PVG-HKG
HKG-PEK
IAH-AMS
AMS-EDI
EDI-CDG
CDG-IAH
IAH-MCI

soon to add LAX-HNL

It is mostly a blur to me as well and even though I mostly go to the same places over and over, I did add a few domestic routes like

FAI-ANC
SLC-ANC
JFK-SLC

And all the rest were offshore:

SYD-CNS
LHR-BCN
BCN-AMS
EDI-KOi
EDI-SYY
KOI-WRY
WRY-PPW
DTW-LHR

Very good - I remind people that the nominal amount is also an after tax number; if there's $7k extra in your pocket it's the equivalent of making ~$11k more. My previous calculation showed my discounting amounts to at least a $19k raise.

Wow, a compliment from the professor of the rebate!! Thank you!! One thing I forget to include in that estimate that is probably the highest amount is the amount of free food. I estimate that to be about $1200 at $5 a meal. The food industry is great for saving money on food!!

icurhere2 would beef that $1200 up by about 50% to account for all the taxes that he did not need to pay on it. Therefore he would have turned the $1200 into more than $1800 with the stroke of his pencil.

I whizzed off to the UA website, and managed to book one. Got a second under way and it bombed on me, and then when I went back to re-do it the fare had been pulled. :(

Will you be in SAT the first or second week of Jan?? I will be visiting friends and MRing out of there that week!

I still regret not jumping on that.

I jumped on two myself and then after it was gone realized what a mistake I had made by not booking any in 2010!
