aloha box.

There was an accident on the highway between my office and my casa last night so I corralled the Canuck for a diversion to Dino BBQ. Evening turned a little less sober when we realized we stumbled upon the Blue Point brewery Christmas party.

Was awakened this morning to "belynch, we have no hot water." After a quick consultation with the water heater, we did have hot water.

I want those 20 min. of sleep back.

Your answer should have been:
"You are Canadian, take a cold shower eh" and you could have slept those extra 20 minutes :D

Morning, Box. Seems like there's lots of  in the air (Brituchenite, wow, I am SO sorry to hear that) this morning - same here. I wasn't able to make up for Monday night's 2 hrs of sleep and today is overscheduled (with several annoying things mixed in amongst the legit stuff). Painful. It's a sprint to the finish line, which is LGA at 12:30 on Friday.

For the SPG fans out there, I just came across the Q1 2010 promo (not sure if this has been posted here yet): http://www.spgpromos.com/morerewards/checkbacksoon.cfm

...I mean, I'm thankful for what I can get, but this is definitely targeted away from those of us who qualify on stays, not nights. (And for a few reasons, I'm planning to try very hard to make Plat this year.)

Off to drop off the car to get a wiring harness replaced, so the air bag light doesn't keep going off at random times. I'm really going to miss the warranty when it disappears (sometime in 2011).

Re: SPG promo...well, it wasn't here as of when I started writing my post. :) Nice job, Hartmann!

Morning Box!

Greetings from my next to last full day in FTW for the year (hopefully). Can't wait to get home and sleep in my own bed for a while.

I just noticed that my flight from 12/10 posted with the 125% bonus :) I'm sure this is fleeting, and they will be yanked away soon... but it is nice to see. (Or did I miss a change from our friends at CO? :) )

OK, back to creating final deliverables for tomorrow. Thanks to all of you who have posted 787 pics. I live vicariously through you!

John

interesting news....I wonder if they plan to reposition the 753s now from IAH-FLL FLL-EWR runs(and a several others like LAS and the likes) to more transcon service routes, or they want them on these leisure routes thinking people will impulse buy wifi.

Woke up drunk. Discovered blackberry jam smeared over most of the kitchen counter. Hope I was more successful at making a PB&J than evidence indicates. :-:

I agree. On the one hand, it's nice that they do so many promos (unlike, say, Marriott, whose bonuses are tied to using a Visa and are thus useless for those of us using a corporate AmEx). On the other, when I am traveling for work, I never stay anywhere more than two nights, and rarely more than one. In fact, I don't think I've stayed in a hotel more than two nights in a row since a Carribbean vacation in 1997.

I think moving them to longer routes would actually keep them from being fully utilized, especially the 753s. On the leisure routes the 753 is perfect, high Y capacity that operates efficiently.
