I enjoyed the morning flights. Fewer people on them (sometimes).

And the FA working up front got all sorts of worried when I poked my head into the cockpit to ask for the tail number.

I have learned the hard way to ask before I poke my head in to the front office.

Neither did I. I figured I had two options. It was either make a loud noise or wrap my arm around his neck and put him in a sleeper hold.

Edit: the loud noise won out at the last second because I thought about it and realized that if I clamped his neck and put him to sleep that we would be dragging dead weight around all day.

He was clearly needing his caffeine - at that point -- so anything would've 'shocked' him!;) Of course, I was dealing with the problem w/the hotel bathroom that morning-- so was already just managing my own stuff!

It was great listening to my mom and dad talk fondly about similar events in the late 60s and early 70s when dad worked at Boeing. IIRC the 747 was the big event of their day.

Yes, yes I did.

She is coming as long as the ticket prices drop a little.

Good Morning, Mr. Breakfast.

The new microwave in the apartment will take some adjustment. My oatmeal came out looking like cardboard slurry at the recycling plant, and tasted much the same.

In other news, I have had an appreciable amount of coffee and will soon be on my way back to the Shore for Rotary and Christmas shopping.
